Noa was watching him with an amused expression. Alphonse looked back at her doubtfully.
“So…what is this?”
“I told you,” she said, holding back laughter, “its candy floss.”
The strange ball of white looked a bit more like cotton to Alphonse than candy. He wasn’t sure if it would taste any better either, but Noa was insistent on him trying some.
Edward had been looking into a lead on the uranium bomb when Noa, who said he was far too young to be cooped up in the house and as a matter of fact so was she, had dragged him off to the carnival.
Which was why Alphonse was staring doubtfully at the odd candy floss (it didn’t even sound appetizing).
Noa sighed and tore off a small piece, then popped it into her mouth.
Alphonse looked at her. Noa’s expression was pretty happy looking and she had swallowed it.
He bit into the candy floss hesitantly, Noa looking on with an expectant expression.
It was wonderful.
Noa laughed.
