The blue portal carries Zoku back to the Priestess’ chambers in Kouto, where Yui sits on the bed in the corner of the room. An identical redwood bed had been brought in and was located on the wall opposite of Yui’s bed; this one, however, belongs to Zoku.
A glaring light heralds Zoku’s arrival, before the girl steps gently from the portal. Her eyes are averted to the ground, hands clenching into fists. Rising slowly to her feet, Yui walks towards Zoku with an elegant grace, stride slow and practiced.
“Welcome back, sister,” Yui says in a cheerful tone. Zoku’s eyes, as sharp as daggers, rise to watch Yui blandly. The priestess stops a few feet in front of Zoku, one hand resting on her hip. Zoku studies Yui’s face for a moment before responding.
“It is done.”
