~Ch. 3 Knife point~
It was a disaster. The homeroom that is, or should one call it a jungle, perhaps zoo? Either way the 
room was in chaos, a new student? Oh yeah! The boys dreamed up hot looking girls, while the 
female population drooled over guys they imagined. Who, nay WHAT entered the room had them 
all in shock. It was a school bag, just an ordinary school bag, nothing more, nothing less. Gaping at 
the floating bag the students muttered in surprise. Then it happened, perhaps it wasn't on purpose, 
but Mikan came flying in late, coliding with the floating bag, or rather the distorted space around 
the bag. A crashing noise followed, revealing a girl with midnight black hair streaked with blood 
red. A red chekered skirt draped across her well-musceled legs, a tie fell across her face, and a white 
polo shirt was now stained with oarnge juice. The chains and spiked wrist bands made the other 
students whistle in shock, not looking over the fact that she had decided to forgo the dress code.
That's when the tie came off her face. Standing up at an in-human rate she glared at her offender. 
The golden eyes that came to rest on Mikan sent shivers up her spine, terror that she hadn't known 
since Natsume changed ran up like a static shot. The more they lay on her the more she realized that 
even NATSUME couldn't scare her this bad. Muttering a hasty apology she ran to her seat, sitting 
down in light speed. Shrugging it off, Mandy turned her hawk-like orbs on the rest of the class, 
causing them to see what had had Mikan so upset. "My name is Mandy Trueman" her cold voice 
rang out, instantly freezing the atmosphere. "It's my pleasure to meet you all" She bowed, and her 
tone was polite enough, but everyone knew that she was ready to kill. Nervously Narumi assigned 
her her seat, unfourtunatly he assigened it right. next. to. Natsume. The whole class gasped at began 
murmering amongst themselves. That's when hell froze over.
Walking over to her seat Mandy went to sit down, ï¬nding that she did not have the space she 
required, she growled a low threatning growl at Natsume. "Move over lazy a**" she spat out. 
"you're in my way....." then she said something no one thought that anyone would EVER be used to 
describe Natsume. "kittycat" that did it, a vein popped up on Natsume's forehead. Sending useless 
icy glares Natsume retored back "I'll do what I like emo-freak" suddenly Natsume found a knife at 
his throat. The whole class gasped. "I. Said. Move. Kittycat. Or are you deaf as well as stupid?" 
Natsume moved, he wasn't quietioning this girl, something in her eyes told him not to.
The classes went on pretty uneventfully, but no one was going to say anything after what had just 
happened. No one had ever expected Natsume to show fear for anyone, the only person he had 
feared was Persona, but only his close friends knew that. It was lunch and everyone had gathered in 
a cluster whispering about Mandy. Ignoring them she took a lunch to a pine tree and sat down, 
ignoring the tittering middle schoolers around her. That's when HE showed up.
+Mandy's POV+
I heard them whispering about me, I knew my actions earlier had been uncalled for, but c'mon, the 
guy was asking for it. Plus there was that stupid girl that knocked into me, granted I was using my 
invisability alice, but still.....oh well, I just had to complete my mission and then I could go back to 
Reo. No wonder he hated sending me here, he hated to see me suffer. He even made me a special 
alice limator to help me not use my stupid alice. I looked around for a spot to sit, I saw a pine tree 
and immediatly went for it. Pine's have always been my favorite, their sharp and protective, but the 
inside is a beautiful color. They reminded me of myself, those gorgous trees. Sitting down I prepared 
for a quiet lunch, then some dork with crazy blue hair, the DUMBEST hat I have ever seen, and a 
star under his left eye came sauntering up. Plus, get this, he LECTURED me, me the red dragon! 
Scourge of the streets, feared by alice users everywhere, more then Reo. I was top dog downtown, 
and he treated me like a snively kid. THAT pissed me off, I was going to make him pay for that.

"Hey, I heard you tried to kill Natsume. You know you really shouldn't do that unless you want to 
go through hell." Tsubasa Andou commented, looking straight into golden orbs that made him 
shutter. He had heard that she was dangerous like Natsume, but she was worse, and that knowledge 
made him shudder. That's when he saw her hairtye.......it had a dragon on it, a RED dragon. He 
gulped when he realized his error, panaking he apologized and ran off. A vicous smile played on 
those blood-stained lips. Then she pulled out a picture of someone she loved very much, someone 
she cared for more then the rest of the world. Reo. Natsume stared down from his hiding place in 
the tree, when he was Reo's picture his eyes widened in shock, he almost fell out the tree when he 
heard her mutter "Brother...." so they were siblings? Well that sort of made sense, considering her 
violent behavior, but still......
he was shocked out of his reverie when he hear a pousinous voice whisper "done spying on me 
yet?" the venom made him nod stupidly and dive out of the tree as if he really had been bitten. 
Mandy swung out of the tree, ignoring the glares she got for scaring the fan-girls 'Natsume'. Turning 
around she gathered her things together. "The world is a knife, and I'm dancing on the point" she 
thought as they all left her, alone. "One slip-up and my world comes crashing down, c'mon, keep 
your cool, you can win this game with those pampered babies. I'll show this academy it can't shove 
Mandy Truman off the edge!" and with that she continued her dance on a knife point, little did she 
know that her slip-up was coming.....and when it did, her world would change, for better or for 
worse.
