The first thing she broke was a friend.

The man's pale face contorted helplessness, heart shattered in the hands of a girl who was tired of trying to hold on. Where shall this newborn go? The net is vast and infinite. Batou screamed while bionic eyes hovered over her, willing her to stay. She left as a new life and never said goodbye.
