Chapter 1

Disclaimer: Nope, unfortunately, Gundam Wing doesn't belong to me. Although I am saddened
by this fact, that doesn't mean I can't write about it. So there!

Author's Note: Hey there! So far, I've got all Yu Yu Hakusho fics, and fic related things up.
However, I also happen to be a loyal Gundam Wing fan. So, this will be my first GDW fic, and
although it isn't my best work, I think if will suffice. This story is really long, so beware! Also,
reviews are a good thing, and if you can spare a minute, I'd appreciate it if you would send them
in. I don't mind flames, but good reviews give me happy thoughts and a warm fuzzy feeling
inside! So please read this and enjoy.

"I want cake, I want a cookie, I want I want I want I want!"

Duo yelled in frustration. "Damn kid!" He muttered.

"Don't curse around the baby Duo, it's not good for her to hear." Hilde said without so much as
glancing up from what she was doing.

Day, Hilde and Duo's 5-year-old daughter, had been screaming non-stop all day, and Duo was
getting fed up with it. He carried the screaming child into her room and put her on her bed. He
tucked her under the covers. "Nappy time, Day. Now do daddy a big favor and go to sleep."

Suddenly a little hand lashed out and grabbed hold of Duo's precious braid and yanked hard.

"Ow, ow, ow, Day... ow... let go of... ow... of daddy's hair."

The little child glared up at her father with a determined look. "Want cookie now!" She said as
she gave the braid a tug.

"Yipes! Okay, okay! I'll make a deal with you. I'll give you a cookie as soon as you wake up, but
you have to take your nap, and let go of daddy's hair!" Duo said as he bent down, trying
desperately to relieve the tension on his poor abused scalp.

Day gave her father a mistrusting look. "Promise?" She asked as she threatened to pull again.

Dear God! I'm being black mailed by my own kid! "Yes, Day, I promise."

As soon as those words were said, the little child snapped her eyes shut and smiled triumphantly.

(Meanwhile at Heero and Relena's)

Relena ran through her large mansion searching frantically for her shoes. She almost regretted
giving the hired help the entire month off. Without them, she never knew where any of her things
were and now she was going to be late! She stumbled upon the royal blue, velvet high heels lying
in a forgotten corner of the kitchen. Another doing of Elaine's no doubt. Relena slid her feet into
them and practically sprinted to the living room where, hopefully, she'd find her briefcase.
Instead she found Heero sitting on the floor with a bag of chips watching some old movie with a
great deal of violence in it. It had taken her a while, but she had finally managed to break that
hard outer shell that had incased Heero for so long, and now he was a loving husband and father.
"Heero, I'm going to be late, have you seen my briefcase?" She asked.

Heero turned to his wife and said, "By the door." Relena about knocked herself in the head as she
saw it sitting there in plain view. "I'm out of here, see you tonight... wait... Heero, where is Elaine
anyway?" She asked quizzically.

Heero raised an eyebrow and as if on cue 5-year-old Elaine ran through the door and smiled.
"Look what I found!" She said excitedly. Then she pulled a gun from behind her back and held it
up as though it were a trophy.

"Oh.my.G-" Relena didn't get a chance to finish as Heero yelled, "Get down!" He leaped over the
back of the couch and pulled Relena to the floor just as the gun started going off. The sound of
crashing lamps and other breakable items could be heard as bullets flew above them. After a
good 30 seconds, all was silent. The two adults looked up their daughter who just looked at them
surprised.

"Oops, the safety wasn't on, eheh."

(Meanwhile at Wufei and Sally's)

Sally opened the door to her mountainside home and smiled as the warm sunshine hit her fairly
pale skin. The air smelled of wild flowers and the musky smell of grass. "Wufei!" She called, her
voice echoing over throughout the entire mountain. She spotted her husband in the distance. He
had his sword and was obviously showing Sakora, their 7-year-old daughter, a few more dueling
skills. "What is it woman! I'm in the middle of a training session. Don't bother me now!" Wufei
called back.

Sally glared back in anger. She stalked towards her husband, eyes set in 'injure painfully' mode.
Wufei was surprised to see his wife hovering over him like some dark, very pissed off evil spirit.
He glared back, trying not to look intimidated. Then she turned to Sakora. "Honey, hand your
sword to mommy." She instructed in a sweet, motherly voice.

"Ok mommy." Sakora gave the gleaming sword to Sally and sat down on the grass. She knew
exactly what was going to happen now. Sally held the sword in front of her, challenging her
younger husband. Wufei accepted and got in fighting stance. Sally smiled. She lashed out at him
and their swords connected, it was strength against sheer anger.

"How many times do I have to tell you, Wufei?" Sally said as she jumped back, as did Wufei.
Their swords connected again, "I have a name! It's Sally not, woman!" Out of nowhere she
delivered a punch right to the Oriental's stomach, making him gasp for air as he fell to the
ground. "If you continue to call me Woman, your going to wake up one morning and find a
certain body part missing." Sally leaned on her sword and smiled evilly, "Let's just say, that when
you get excited, the results probably won't be the same." With that, Sally turned and walked
away. Wufei watched after her and gulped heavily once she was out of sight.

"Damn onna." He mumbled to himself.

Sakora blinked. "Momma!" She yelled. "Daddy just called you a damn onna, what's that mean?"

(Meanwhile at Trowa and Catherine's)

Catherine pushed the sliding glass doors open, which led to the back yard. She'd been Spring-
cleaning all day and needed a breath of fresh air. She walked over to stand under the shady maple
tree that stood proudly right next to the white picket fence that incased their yard.

Catherine leaned against the sturdy trunk and closed her eyes, enjoying the peace and tranquility
of the afternoon. She opened her eyes just in time to see a silver streak go right by her head and
land in the tree with a ssssprinnnnnggg. Then, out of the corner of her eyes, she saw a knife dug
into the tree bark and the blade situated only half an inch away from her head. Catherine took a
surprised breath, barely believing her luck, but she then had to locate the source of the problem.
She turned to face Trowa his green eyes wide, and 7-year-old Tess sitting on her father's
shoulders just as surprised. When the child saw her mother's glare, she ducked behind her father's
head, so only her eyes and up was showing.

"Sorry Cathy. I was... just... um... teaching.Tess how to throw... knives... sorry! I-
AHHHHHHHHH!" Trowa yelled as he began to run around the yard with a laughing Tess on his
shoulders and his wife trailing close behind him with the knife.

(Meanwhile at Quatre and Dorothy's)

Quatre yawned and stretched. He glared at the stack of papers on his desk, almost hoping that
they'd just get scared and go away, but that wasn't going to happen any time soon. Maybe a little
break will help, he thought.

Quatre pushed his chair back and got up. He hadn't seen Dorothy all day and had a hunch she
would be one of two places: the library or the gym. He took a chance and found her reading
comfortably in the library. She was draped over an oversized recliner chair, her blonde hair
flipped over her shoulder. It was still long, but she'd cut it only three months before and so it
wasn't half as long as it used to be. She also didn't have those split eyebrows anymore and her
personality had changed a lot since the war days. Quatre smiled at his wife. "Long time no see."
He said as he approached her.

Dorothy put the book down in her lap and looked up at her husband. "No kidding. I don't know
whether you're married to me and having an affair with your office, or married to your office and
having an affair with me." She said in an amused tone.

"I know, you're right. I shouldn't spend so much time locked up in there. Where's Andréa?" he
asked.

Dorothy shrugged. "She took apart the vid-phone upstairs again, so I decided it was probably nap
time for her." The blonde looked at her wristwatch. "Actually, she should be awake pretty soon
here. And there she is." Dorothy pointed to the 5-year-old who was running down the hall toward
her parents with a panicked look.

"Mommy! Daddy!" She exclaimed.

"What is it Andréa?" Quatre asked, alarmed.

"I was up in my room and I woke up early from nap time, so I gotted bored and so I sorta took
apart the CD player in your room, and now, well I hit a wire and the player caughted on fire, and
so did your bed."

Quatre and Dorothy shot out of the room. "Allah, help us!"
