[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]

Title: Memories of a Bloody Past
Genre: Violence, mystical stuff, demons, AU, language, angst, death (none of the pilot), I'll add more if anymore comes up
Summary: Duo is a nameless demon that was once a heartless murderer of the innocent. Heero is a warrior who is set on making the demon pay for his wicked ways. When he finally confronts the demon, he finds that he has lost his memory. Is this a trick or is something really amiss.
Disclaimer: Nanashi is the name I got off a fic. It means 'No name' or something like that. I want to give the idea to the writer being that that's where I got the idea. I can't remember your name, but you know who you are, hopefully. I don't own Gundam Wing...the plot bunny won't stop biting me. They're pink and rabid, ya know, so don't sue. All you will get is a handful of pocket lent.
Pairings: Haven't of any past 1x2, but I'll keep you updated on that situation.

Chapter 10:

(three years later)

The years were passing by slower than G would've wanted. The Young Master had just seen his eight winter although it felt more like a decade.

Heero had grown quite a bit since the death of his entire village. His face had lost some but not all of its baby fat giving way to a handsome young man. His hair was still as unruly as ever if not more. His eyes were what changed the most.

The color had intensified over the years. All of the innocence they held years ago was a faint glimmer in the endless azure jewels.

The youth had grown cold since his departure from his remaining friends. He hardly ever talked or laughed. Despite his naïveté in some things, he was dedicated to every train resume G put him through.

G was impressed more than once by Heero's vigilance. If it was for the fact that he was being forced to watch over the boy, he would've grown admire and care for him. But a grudge was a hard thing to be rid of.

“No, no, no! Hold it this way, boy!” G roughly took the sword from Heero's hands. Instead of starting with wooden ones, the elderly man had gone straight to the real thing. It was a great strain on the younger boy's body.

Heero grudgingly memorized the way G held the sword before said weapon was shoved back into his hands. His arms had long since been sore from toting the clunky thing around.

“Now, attack.” G stood to the side and waited. The object in question was a wool blanket wrapped around a wooden pole.

Heero charged forward clumsily dragging the tip of the sword along the ground. He stopped on one foot and used his momentum to swing the sword at the dummy. He came short and swiped only air before being spun around and landing on his rear.

Once the dust around him cleared he could see G with his back turned to him. The old man's shoulders were shaking and he was slightly hunched over. Was he laughing at him?

Heero wiped at the itchy patch of dust on the side of his nose and stood. No one laughed at him!

He charged the dummy again. This time he managed to cut into the middle of the make shift mannequin. His sword hummed as it vibrated from being stopped suddenly by the thick pole.

Heero pulled futilely to release his weapon but it didn't budge. He let his arms drop limply at his side and slowly sunk to the ground. How the hell was he supposed to avenge everyone if he let a mere dummy beat him?!

He growled angrily at his own weakness. Failure was not an option.

G was stopped in his mirth as he felt something radiate off the boy. He turned and watched in awe as Heero pulled himself to his feet. His wiry body was outlined in a faint blue light as he took the hilt of the sword in both hands.

“Tenchi?” G said almost inaudibly.

Heero pulled again with all his strength. This time the wood relented along with several splinters. This left the youth on his rear yet again staring at the gaping hole he left.

“Change of training, boy.” G called from his spot by a old sequoia tree.

TBC……

A/N: I have not a clue what I am doing now. I know I don't want Heero to be the only one without powers. Oops, did I give something away? Oh, well, we'll jump forward more in the next chapter.
