Whether by chance or malicious intent, one of the local gossip rags catches wind of Minister Peacecraft's "unnatural" affair with a Preventers officer. The story is quickly picked up by more widely-circulated publications, and soon the entire Earthsphere (so it seems) is abuzz with gossip.

Noin, at first, is reluctant to appear in public with Relena. She is convinced that her lover's career will suffer.

Relena, secretly, breathes a sigh of relief. Whatever the fallout, she'll deal with it. At least they can hold hands in public now.
