Inu Yasha and Kagome walked to Kaede's hut after Inu Yasha defeated a swarm of demons. Then Inu Yasha came up with an idea. He remembered how as a kid he always wanted to fight like the Soulcalibur characters and thought that he could join their team. Especially since he could defeat a swarm of demons.

"Those lousy Soulcalibur characters," Inu Yasha muttered, "They think they're so great."

"What's wrong, Inu Yasha?" asked Kagome.

"A few years ago before Kikyo pinned me to a tree, I tried out for Soulcalibur," Inu Yasha explained, " They thought I was too young and weak.

"Well, you're a lot stronger now. You just killed a swarm of demons. Why don't you try out again and prove them wrong?" Kagome suggested.

"Yeah, that's a good idea."

"Can I come too?" asked Kagome.

Inu Yasha tried not to laugh. "You? Try out for the team?" He said suprised.

"I didn't mean that!" Kagome said,"I meant just go with you for support!"

"Oh. You can come. Just try not to get in the way."
