Chapter one: Dreams Come true

Kagome blinked back her tears and tore away from him.

What had gone wrong?

Sure, she had felt bad a first, but now she was over it.

Inuyasha…

They had finally deafeated Naraku with the power of her purifying arrow and Inuyasha Kaze No Kizu.

But now…

What would happen now?

All he ever wanted was Kikyo to be alive. And she wouldn't allow it.

She took the jewel and ran.

Inuyasha appeared in front of her and slashed.

And then, she snapped.

Training with the lord of the western lands payed off and she dodged the attack and ran.

She jumped in the well to hear the crash of claws and the well collide.

The familiar feeling of flying. And then she was home.

Or so she thought.

Sasuke stared at team seven. He knew that Sakura and Naruto were coming closer, more than just friends.

And he envied them.

He wished he had someone to talk to .

Someone he could actually trust.

But, he couldn't allow himself to open up, he just couldn't.

Emotions are weak.

It makes you weak.

It can be used against you.

Anytime, Anywhere.

That's why he couldn't allow himself to do this.

It would be used against him…

He sighed and opened his book. Only a few pages remained, left to be read.

But he closed the book again. He was in no mood to read some idiotic love story.

Why he even read it, was a mystery…

Even to himself.

He finally got up and ate his meager breakfast, and set out.

To the park…

To the well…

The mysterious well…

He skiddeed to a stop and sat in front of the well…

And peered in…
