After Three Years
 
Chapter one-The dream
 
 
It is twelve o'clock in the morning, and everyone is asleep.
Everyone is sleeping well, except for one person-or rather hanyou.
He was tossing and turning, but everyone was asleep.
In his dream he saw his friends but he had no memory of who they were, even Kagome.
He didn't even recognize the scent of his brother.
It was like the past didn't even happen, and he was stuck in some alternant reality.
Inuyasha quietly woke up, and looked at his friends.
He walked out of the hut, and he walked to the well quietly.
Before anyone realized he was gone, he climbed in the well, and disappeared in the purple light.

“Where did he go? He was here two minutes ago!" Shippo growled as the others slept.
Okay maybe he just needed to take a walk, but at this time of day?
There was only one place he could've gone, the well.
But he can't go after him, so what if something happens to him on the other side? Surely Inuyasha could take care of himself, but what there were exorcists like there was here?
Then Inuyasha was in trouble!

What was that dream about? Why did I have it? Why am I asking all these questions? Maybe Kagome would have an explanation. Inuyasha thought while he laid in the grass.
Inuyasha felt the lack of sleep catching up to him, and he began to stretch.
He then went back to sleep, not caring that he wasn't even in a house.
Kagome then walked out, and she saw Inuyasha's almost lifeless body.
She ran to him, and shook him.
He woke up startled, and his fear came true.
He couldn't remember her, and her smell didn't seem familiar.
“Inuyasha? Is something wrong?" Kagome asks.
Inuyasha couldn't even remember his own name. Boy was this bad.

"He still hasn't come back! Something must've happened to him! "Shippo shrieked.
“Shippo! Calm down! Inuyasha can take care of himself!” Sango barks.
You're right, okay Shippo calm down. Inuyasha isn't a defenseless dog.
“Sango, I have to see if he's alright, I can't stand all this agitation!” Shippo says.
The shikon jewel glows, and they are sent flying into Kagome's era.
