&nbs p; Kagome was playing with her friend Inuyasha in the big playroom at her house when she heard her parent’s yelling and saw her father coming to the door with a suitcase in his hand. “Daddy, daddy don’t leave!” Kagome begged as she ran and hugged her father’s leg. “Mommy doesn’t mean any of the mean things she says daddy please don’t go!” by now tears were streaming down her face freely. Her father just looked down at her with sadness in his eyes. He kissed her goodbye and that he loved her very much and that everything that was happening was not her fault. Then he picked up his suitcase and walked through the door for the last time. Kagome just watched as her father walked out of her life forever. After he left Kagome sobbed uncontrollably she was unable to stop the tears that fell from her eyes. Inuyasha ran to her and held her in his arms as she continued to sob. From that day on every night she would look out her window and pray to god. “Father listen tell him that he's got a home and he don't have to go. Father save him I would do anything in return
I'll clean my room, Try hard in school ,I'll be good! I promise you! Father, Father.” She continued to do this for the next few years until she reached her freshman year. In her freshman year her father was in a car accident and was killed.

Now she and Inuyasha are married and every year on the anniversary of the day her father left she goes to the cemetery where he is buried and sings the song that she wrote after that fateful day.
