Ears III: Purring

I rubbed your ears

Just like you said I could

Maybe a little longer than intended

But you had agreed

They were so soft though

Warm and fuzzy too

Just habit really

I've had many pets

Then it happened

I heard this noise

A low rumbling kinda sound

That came from you

I moved my hand

To stop my giggle

You looked at me

With glazed yet pleading eyes

I giggled some more

And a little louder

You looked at confused

And I replied

You looked adorable

That was it

You gave an angry `Feh'

And walked off

It would be a long time

Before I hear

That purr again
