and sorrow rains down
it hurts me to hurt you
but i want always be around
i want you to move own
to forget we ever met
but it hurts to let you go
and either way would bring regret
your tears flow down your face
you say why dont you understand
i want to let you know i do

but for some reason i cant take your hand
to lead you own would hurt you
you would think that somethings there
but you cant understand
and you think that i dont care
if i dident care

i would let myself love you
but that would only bring sorrow
because you would find that it wasent true
i want so badly to cry
to let you know i feel the same way
but when you ask me with your eyes
i cant find the words to say

i guess ill be forever torn
between my future and my past
love is just a whim
and as you can see it doesent last
but even though
thats what i say
i cant help but hope
that maybe someday

i might find peace
and that peace be with you
long ago i said
that my love was through
i say im not in love
but my heart begins to race
