That is the last thing she heard before darkness claims her. Kagome struggle hard to escape but every time she did the wound will sting even more. The poison in her body had started to react within her body cells, causing temporarily numbness. Suddenly, she felt a pang of regret. She had regretted the day she ran away, shielding herself from the outside world. Like an apple rotting away, the dark emotions slowly consumed her to her death.
