There is something about him that commands loyalty. She's often remarked it. Somehow, beyond layers and layers of evil, hatred, destruction- lies that which makes those who serve him do so not only because they fear him. He is a master at manipulation, can take any form, rarely keeps his promises, and cares for nothing. Not even, one might think, himself.

Naraku.

Hell. Or, if you like, Eternity. Perhaps he is both.

They are opposites. She knows that. He knows that. They both know that the other knows that as well. She that purifies; he that corrupts.
