She snipped, snipped, snipped. Watching as it fell away, almost floating it seemed as it fell slowly.

 

 

Take the scissors and chop it all off.

 

 

She was angry, so her movements were jerky. Making the chopping uneven and messy. She didn't care.

 

 

 

Hack away at it. Make yourself look how you feel.

 

 

 

You're ugly. So disgusting. I'm vulgar. He said I was revolting.

 

 

 

Almost gone. The black strands fall, leaving behind ugliness.

 

 

 

She kept on cutting. Cutting, cutting, cutting until all that was left was an inch of black fuzz.

 

 

 

Gaze upon the mirror. See your ruined self. What pain has left behind.

 

 

She saw herself reflected. Mutilated. She sees what hurt can do to people. Disfigured. How the loss of love and pain of rejection left her. Horrid.
