To Be Just Like Daddy

Inuyasha was walking through the forest loving the smell of the

snow and the way it felt and tasted.

Inuyasha had just breathed in when he heard familiar laughing,

laughing he knew by heart. His daughter's laughter.

“What do we have here?” Inuyasha said smirking evilly.

Inuyasha started running towards his daughter but making sure not

to be seen or smelled by her.

When he reached her he saw her making a snowman by herself, it

sadden him because he thought she was having fun with somebody

else not herself.

Inuyasha realized that his daughter Kida always had a problem with

being around others and that she could not ignore when people

made fun of her.

“Pup, what are you doing out here?”

Kida jumped in surprise from hearing her fathers voice not that

far away from her.

“Daddy, what are you doing out here? I was just making a snowman

because I had nothing better to do with my time since mama's

making lunch and Jr. and Koji are having a snowball fight with the

other village kid's.”

“I was just going out on a walk, I love the winter time you know

that.”

Kida smiled at her father lovingly.

“Can I walk with you since I'm doing a sucky job of this snowman?”

Inuyasha looked past Kida to the snowman that looked like three

disfigured balls of snow.

Inuyasha smiled lovingly at Kida remembering when he made

snowmen with his mother and how his always looked liked Kida's

while his mother's looked like a piece of art.

“Yeah, sure sounds good to me.”

Inuyasha and Kida started walking in Inuyasha's forest when Kida

asked a question.

“Daddy, what's a half-breed?”

The minute Kida asked the question Inuyasha remembered asking

the same question to his mother and seen her cry.

“Where did you here it from?”

“One of the village kid's called me it and it doesn't sound like a very

nice name to be called and I heard it from a few other village Kid's

when they think I cant hear them.

“Kida it means your not fully human or demon your halve and halve

its also a bad name for the ones that are.”

“But, I don't call them names and they don't call Jr. and Koji that. Is

there something wrong with me?” she asked looking curios at her

father expecting him to know the answer.

“NO! There is nothing wrong with you, there's something wrong with

them.”

“Daddy, did you ever get called a half-breed?”

Inuyasha looked softly down a Kida and realized she's just like him

Not accepted besides her loved ones.

“Yes, Kida I was called that and so much more. I didn't fit in either I

was an outcaste.”

Kida smiled at Inuyasha happily.

“Then I guess its are secret.”

“What's are secret?”

“I'm to be just like daddy!”
