Prologue

 

Tidus sat at the edge of the pier looking down into the water at his own reflections, memories started to come back but they were unclear

 

 

He looked over at sora who was running with a mushroom and three fish in his grasp

 

 

“hey you're birthday is next week isn't it?”, he turned around to see selphie “yeah sora is only a month older than me”

 

 

“so whats bugging you?” she asked nudging him on the shoulder “I'm starting to remember things that I couldn't remember at first”

 

 

“well me and wakka must be in the same boat as you cuz we remember things too all of a sudden” she said staring into his eyes

 

 

“hmmm?” tidus thought for a moment but was startled by a loud sound

 

 

“hey tidus that's your mom”, the brown headed girl said, tidus stood up and look through his binochulars at the distant island where the town was.

 

 

His mom was standing on the beach next to their house

 

 

Tidus stood up and made his way for his kayak

 

 

(Later that night….)

 

 

Tidus sat on his bed listening to his mom cry over his dad's disappearance from a year ago

 

 

“I rather be in the storm outside than listen to her cry” he walked over to the window and opened the curtain to see a purple rip in the sky sucking up everything

 

 

“what the hell?” he grapped his binochulars and looked through them, he watched in horror as sora was being sucked up

 

“Sora…”, he threw off his sandals and put his boots on instead. He grabbed his gloves and put on his father's zanarkand abes necklace which was the only gift his dad ever gave him and jumped out the window

 

 

he landed on the ground lightly even though it was a drop that normal people would break a leg from but he found himself unusual cause he could jump high and land from high places, him…..and his dad

 

 

he ran towards the water but something moved in the waves, dark creatures washed up on shore

 

 

“what are they?” tidus started to back up shaking, he turned around to see his home engulfed in darkness

 

 

“Mom!!!!”, he ran towards his heartless infested house but was grabbed by his wrist.

 

 

He turned around instantly scared of what he might find, but what he found was a friend

 

“A…Auron!” the dirty blonde yelled surprised by his sudden appearance “take this…”

 

 

auron said as he held out the longsword, tidus grabbed it “a gift from jecht”

 

 

“my old man?”, “quick here they come”, auron ran at the heartless “w…wait auron you're going the wrong way!” tidus yelled desperately

 

 

tidus followed him

 

 

they rushed up through the forest of destiny island hacking and slashing cutting down heartless

 

 

auron suddenly stopped at the edge of a cliff that sat over the town, tidus side stepped and slashed the heartless watching it disappear,

 

 

“ auron what are you doing”, auron looked up provoking tidus to look up

 

the rip in the sky had gotten bigger, tidus fell down in shock as a huge dark whale like object came through the portal

 

 

“don't be afraid”, auron replied “do you feel him?”,

 

 

“I don't know what you're talking about”, suddenly the cliff broke off leaving tidus barely hanging and the little chunk they were on floating up

 

 

“Auron!….Auron!”

 

 

auron looked up at the monster “are you sure?” the bushido master said

 

 

auron grabbed tidus by the collar and held him up

 

 

“this is it”

 

 

“this is your story”

 

 

“it all begins here”

 

 

auron was sucked into the monster after his words

 

 

that was the last thing tidus remembered
