Year: 2176

It was a peaceful day in the city. Megaman X, Zero and Axl had

defeated Sigma at his palace in space 3 months ago, with him gone, X

thought for sure the world would be at peace for now. I sure hope

Sigma is gone for good said X. yeah, replied Zero, him coming back

again and again gave me a headache. Well, its useless worrying about

it now, let's enjoy this peace we have fought so hard for said Axl.

Well spoken Axl said Zero with a chuckle. Just then the alarm

sounded. What the…? Oh no, don't tell me another Maverick attack

said Zero. Alia, what's the scoop interrogated X. check the news X,

replied Alia. X turned on the TV and tuned in to the latest news

broadcast. Breaking news, a new terrorist threat is on the horizon. A

group of mavericks calling themselves JQuada have announced

publicly on their website they will conquer the world using any

means necessary. The leader who is Sama Plasma who says they will

make the world bow down to their idealism or be destroyed. The

president now plans to negotiate with Sama to call a peace treaty.

Sizzling circuits! This is horrible, we gotta do something said X. well,

let's ask if we can locate their main HQ and take em down from the

inside replied Zero. Good thinking, Alia, can you locate the JQuada

HQ? Alia search the main database. I'm sorry X, but there is no info

on where it is replied Alia. Are you serious? You mean we're dealing

with an enemy who has kept their base secret demanded Axl.

I'm afraid so, the JQuada is a very sinister group of Mavericks.

Maverick Terrorists down ordered X. an hr later, X, Zero and Axl

boarded a jet. Be careful, these guys attack by surprise said Alia.

Don't worry; those Mavericks will be scrap when we deal with them

base said Alia. The Class S Hunters took off and headed for the

Middle East. 5 hrs later, the group passed into the border. They were

within 2 hrs of their destination. So Zero, do you think these

Mavericks are a huge threat asked X. I don't know, but their mission

sounds serious, I think we should take no chances. When we find em,

let's wipe em out replied Zero. Good thinking said Axl. Well,

anyway, let's call Alia and see if she has any info said X. X turned on

his radio, Alia, this is X. what's up X asked Alia. Do you have any

new info on JQuada. Not really, but on this website, it says the have a

virus which can turn any reploid into one of them. Whoa, this sounds

really serious, thanks for the info Alia. No problem X, always glad to

lend a helping….. BOOOM! What the…? X, what's going on? We've

been hit, they must have known about our coming! Zero, can you

land the jet asked X. I don't think so, we're gonna have to eject

replied Zero. Then let's do it said Axl. The 3 ejected just in time.

Another rocket had nailed the jet blowing it to bits. I don't believe

this, how did they know we were coming, did they pick up our

transmissions demanded Zero. I don't know, but it looks like, they're

not done firing replied X. JQuada's minions were firing more rockets

at the Hunters. These Mavericks won't know what hit em said Zero

with anger. The Class S hunters managed to land safely only to be

surrounded by JQuada Mavericks. Submit to JQuada or be destroyed

said one the main members. Never! Take this said Zero as he charged

slashing him in 2. Destroy the infidels shouted another JQuada

Maverick. You guys don't know who you're messing with said Axl

firing his guns repeatedly taking out several Mavericks. The JQuada

responded by using their saber Axes. Zero using fine footwork

avoided the attacks. You guys need more practice said Zero using a

Dragon Slash on 3 JQuada Mavericks knocking them out for good.

Just then, more JQuada Mavericks appeared. Uh oh, this looks like

trouble. Stand back Zero ordered X. Charge shot! X charged his

blaster and fired, taking out a dozen Mavericks. So, you scumbags

had enough said Zero. It is futile you infidels! The JQuada Mavericks

will conquer to the world one way or another said the main member.

Oh yeah, not as long as we're here said X. just then even more

JQuada Mavericks appeared, About 75-100. Oh boy, now what said

Zero. So, one last chance, surrender and become part of the JQuada

group or be destroyed said the main member. Ok, our answer is….

THIS! Zero did a major slash attack taking out 7 Mavericks. Destroy

them ordered the main member. The JQuada Mavericks charged the

Class S Hunters. X, Zero and Axl used their knowledge and strength

to take out dozens of JQuada's group. Zero slashed them at will with

his Z-Saber, X fired charged shots and blasted as many as he could.

Axl repeatedly fired his guns taking em out one at a time. The Class S

Hunters had taken out 50 of em. You guys are a joke, give it up

before we wipe out your pathetic group demanded Zero. You have

no idea who you're messing with said the leader; we have other ways

to take you down. Suddenly, a JQuada Maverick not from the

original group of fighters snuck up behind Axl. Axl, look out shouted

X. Axl managed to turn around, but not in time to avoid the attack.

The JQuada Maverick slashed Axl in the middle, severely injuring

him. AXL! You DIRTY MAVERICKS! TAKE THIS, shouted X firing

multiple shots at the Maverick who injured Axl, destroying him.

Nobody injures my friend and gets away with , yelled Zero. Zero also

went on a rampage slashing the rest of the Mavericks right and left.

Retreat shouted the leader, don't think you have won. This battle is

just the beginning. Yeah, the beginning of your doom shouted Zero.

You are a fool to think we can be defeated that easily. Ah, good, our

commander Sama has arrived. Sama Plasma then walked up, with a

serious look on his face. YOU! Sama, how dare you threaten innocent

lives with your sadistic terrorist plots yelled X. oh please, save your

breath, this is just a taste of the destruction we're planning to do.

Your president is a fool to think we would ever call a peace treaty

with him. What are your plans Maverick yelled Zero. You'll find out

soon enough, in fact, our next move is very soon and will take you

completely by surprise. Don't bother trying to fight us, we have more

members than you can defeat. We shall meet again said Sama leaving

with his group. What does he mean his next move will catch us by

surprise pondered X. I don't know. But we better get Axl to a reploid

medical facility fast replied Zero. Axl, are you all right asked X. I…

long I can hold on for replied Axl weakly. He's fading fast. We got to

get him back to base as soon as possible said Zero. But how, our jet

was destroyed replied X. hmm, we'll have to find one here and

borrow it said Zero. I guess we got no other choice. Ok, let's move

out ordered X. X and Zero then carried Axl on a stretcher looking for

any transportation to get them back home. 30 minutes later, X and

Zero still haven't found a place to transport Axl. What are we gonna

do Zero? Axl's life is in our hands said X. just keep moving X, there's

gotta be a place soon replied Zero. Hey, look, there's an air strip, let's

ask them said X. be careful X, they could be Mavericks replied Zero.

Excuse me, we have an emergency, a reploid is severely injured, we

need to get back to base. Can we borrow a jet asked X. sorry, we

don't have any to spare. Who are you anyway asked an airstrip

worker? I'm Zero and this is X. we're Maverick Hunters, now, before

we tell anymore, are you Mavericks? Relax, we're not Mavericks,

we're just airstrip workers. Ok, look, we really need to borrow a jet,

can you loan us one and we'll pay for it said Zero. I'm sorry, but like

I said, we have none to spare. Great, now what said X. hey, you guys

need a ride asked a pilot. Yea, we do, one of our comrades is severely

injured and we need to get back to the States replied Zero. Well, hop

on board; I'm heading that way anyhow. Thank you sir, your

generosity is greatly appreciated said X. the pilot and the Maverick

Hunters took off for the states to bring back info to HQ. Alia, this is

X. we're heading back now. X, how was your mission asked Alia. It

was 50/50, we defeated the JQuada, but they severely injured Axl

replied X. that's awful, well, how is he asked Alia. He's barely

holding on. We're going as fast as we can replied X. ok X, come back

as soon as pos… BOOOOOM! The radio went dead Alia, Alia!

Zero, something's happened in the city said X. you think this is what

Sama was talking about? How could he have struck so soon? I can't

believe this; I think Sama is more dangerous than we realize said

Zero. What the? Half of the city is in flames! What just happened

here said X. I think Sama detonated a megaton bomb, that scumbag, I

swear I will cut him up for this said Zero angrily. The Maverick

Hunters flew back with the city in ruins and wondering how Sama

pulled this off. And what happened to the Maverick Hunter base?
