Chapter One: The beginning of Me

The first thing I see now is the light! Finally, out of that cramped egg and into the open. I was not hesitant! I jumped out and met my parents! I was the first to come out. They named me Kokoum (CO-coo-UM) because I was the first to come out, the strongest and masterful. For those who lack intelligence of vocabulary masterful means `a great leader'. I was different from my brothers and sisters. I wanted to fight any trainer that came my way. By the way, I'm a Torchic. I made friends with poke'mon all around the Constellation Forest within the continent of Zodiac. Now don't get me wrong. Just because I love to fight doesn't mean I'm not peaceful. I love star gazing, playing with my friends and swimming. I know you're not expecting a fire poke'mon to swim but, I've learned to adapt by sitting under waterfalls. My friends were Aquaturner the Mudkip, Exotic the Treecko, Thunder the Shooker, Weather the escaped Castform and Skyler
the Taillow.
We all love fighting and we wanted to put our powers to the test! My parents wanted me to stay safe and with my family. Same with my friend's parents. One day we were all relaxing in a tree when Aquaturner was fed up.
“I CAN'T TAKE IT ANY MORE!!” She shouted. She was obviously angry and wanted to fight. “Why are we lying back here and kicking around rocks? We're poke'mon, we should be free! Free to do what we want! If fighting is what we want then we should get it! We need to find some sort of challenge but where?” Which one of us didn't know this?
“I hear ya,” I replied calmly. “But our parents say we should avoid
trainers of any kind.”
“Speaking of which, here are three more coming this way.” Said Thunder
while looking from the branch. Three young trainers, one had a Flareaton by his side, another had a I on his shoulder and the girl was holding the map.
“Oooh boy, So many trainer careers end when trainers come by here.”
Weather said as he looked at them walking towards a tunnel.
“I bet by tomorrow, they'll be running back with their clothes in rags,
bleeding almost everywhere and either too battered to continue or suffering from
too much trauma.” I replied and felt sorry for them.
“Anyway, we need to find a way to get a challenge, but where?” Suddenly, a
gust of wind blew a sheet of paper at Skyler and he fell off the tree.
“Humans should watch where they throw their papers!” shouted Skyler.
“Hold the phone!” I called out. “It says that there is a Zodiac League where trainers go to test their skills at poke'mon training and in order to show they are worthy of the league they must get badges from poke'mon gyms and show them the badges as proof of their strength. Wow! We may actually get a challenge
after all!”
“But how will we get through without getting caught?” asked Weather. “I'm practically the weather institutes most wanted.”
“Simple my dear friend, we go INCOGNITO! But first we must go to Zodiac town to get registered and I believe you know how my little rain cloud.”
“Why are you looking at me like that?”

“I should've known better.” Mumbled Weather angrily as was carrying
everyone except Skyler because, he can fly. Weather made the weather cloudy and he turned into a cloud, floating to Zodiac town. Who knows what lies before our friends?
