For the second time, I do NOT own Ragnarok(and I wish I did). Also this is my first fanfic, so please review nicely.
Chapter 1: Hello, My Name is Robert
"Hey, wake up. C'mon now, it's getting late!. You didn't even eat yet! Hey, wake up already!"
"*Hungt*Man! I'm still sleepy!"
"Well what did I say about staying up late?"
"Geez, I'm 13! Please don't remind me of those things again!"
"As long as you remember it, and put it to good use... fine."
'A few minutes later'
"Man, I'm stuffed! I'll have a walk, see you later Melanie!"
"Be careful Robert! Don't get lost!"
"I'm not a kid!"
"Hmhmhmhm, yes I know. If only your father could see you right now. He'll be surprised how fast you grew."
'Hi, I'm Robert. A 13 year old kid born in December4. I live with this woman named Melanie, she's not my mother, but she's a real nice lady. Actually I'm an orphan, Melanie told me my parents died by an assassin attack in the forest when I was still a baby. But I don't really care actually, as long as Melanie's still here, I'll be just fine. Just incase you ask, I'm still a Novice. But I just turned 13 and I'm getting ready for the Swordsman test. Why Swordsman you ask? Well, it all started when I was a young kid, maybe 5 or 6 years old I guess. But anyway, she always tells me this bednight story about King Robert. He's a good king who ruled Rune-Midgard because of his kind, loving heart and his passion to help others. Well, he's a knight too. But the castle was attacked by a big monster called Baphomet and was killed. I want to be just like him. Look, we even have the same name. Well, I think I should head back home.'
"Hey, I'm back."
"Wow, that was fast! It usually takes you 20-30 minutes to finish walking after breakfast!"
"Well, I want to be a Swordsman fast! So what do I have to do huh?"
"Um, the test? Well, I forgot!*Boing!* Hehehehe! Just follow me to the academy and let's sign you up for the exam!"
"Uhhh, fine!"
The two were walking from Prontera to Izlude. This won't take so long, well atleast if Robert didn't talk too much.
"Are we there yet?"
"No"
"Are we there yet?"
"No"
"Are we there yet?"
"No..... No"
"I didn't even say anything yet."
*Chrk Chrk. Crrk*
"Fabre! Can I kill it?"
"Fine, you'll need all fighting experience you can get."
"Die foolish animal! I shall send you back to where you came from! Return to the land of Cernnunos!"
"Just, where did you get those cheesy pick-up lines?"
"Die!"
*Stab! Boing! Stab! Boing! Stab! Boing!"
"Hwaaa! Feel my wrath! *<PLAY DEAD!!!>*"
".....Huh? It's just a Fabre."
"But it hurts so much! It bit me in my danger zone!"
"Gross, you should buy groin protectors you know."
*Grrrr*
"Look Robert, your friend wants some more."
"Die!"
Robert peirces it straight into the heart and *BOOM!!!*
"Hahaha! I'm the great Robert! You can't match me stupid caterpillar! Kiss my a.."
Just before Robert could finish the damn word, dozens of Fabre's came out of a tree
"Can I run now?"
"Ahhhhhhhhh!"
'After all those running away from the Fabre's thing, they finally reached Izlude'
"We made it!" Melanie has shouted for joy
"Shouldn't I be the one whose saying that?"
"Um, well let's go here now Robert."
"Hehehe!*Makes a huge evil smile on his face.*"
"Alright Robert! The Swordsman Academy!"
"Alright! Swordies, here I come!"
Well that's all this Chapter. The next one, our hero finally signs up for the test, but will he stay happy after he hears the requirements?
