> "Enough is enough, Ranma!"
>
> Ranma sweated as his four fiances (two self-appointed) surrounded him in
> a deserted park.
>
> "Ohohoho! It's time things were settled, Ranma-sama!"
>
> "Psycho girl speak truth."
>
> "That's why all us girls got together for a talk, Ranchan."
>
> "That's right," Akane finished for the four girls, "we've had enough of this
> four way thing going on here."
>
> "You don't mean you want me to decide, do ya?" Ranma gulped. He didn't want
> to hurt any of the girls, not even Kodachi. That was sure to happen if he
> had to settle this marriage thing once and for all.
>
> "That won't be necessary Ranma-sama." Kodachi smiled, and added "We were
> talking, the other girls and I. I must admit, when we just talk we can
> actually get along. Quite surprising, I assure you."
>
> "Anyway," Akane took over the conversation, "we decided that leaving
> things to you would get us nowhere. So we decided for you."
>
> "You decided for me? You mean I don't get a say in this?"
>
> "Had long chance." Shampoo noted. "Ranma blew it. Spatula girl?"
>
> Ranma looked at Ukyou as she walked up to him. Oh hell, she'd never give
> up, they must have selected her. But he didn't want to marry her, and he
> didn't want to hurt her either. He bit back a groan. His refusal was going
> to hurt her...
>
> "Ranchan... it took me a while, but in the end I realised I didn't want
> your love. I wanted your friendship, just like the old days. I can still
> be your friend, but I'll never be your lover. I'm sorry."
>
> Ranma blinked, as Shampoo replaced Ukyou.
>
> "Shampoo no stupid. You no like me that way. Well, Shampoo member of proud
> tribe. Won't act like weakling Japanese women, always pining away waiting
> for you to dump me. Shampoo better than that, Shampoo going back to China
> where she appreciated. Goodbye, Ranma."
>
> Ranma scratched his head. That had been a bit unexpected, considering her
> usual affections, but as long as Akane didn't refuse him, everything was
> ok. He looked at his short-haired fiance.
>
> "I'm sorry, Ranma, but I never wanted to marry you. That hasn't changed.
> We never get on anyway, and I wouldn't want to see our kids having to grow
> up with our bickering."
>
> Ranma winced. With a small look of fear, he looked at the only girl left.
>
> "Ohohohohoho! No, no, Ranma-sama. I don't think so. After the others told
> me about some of your problems, I could never marry you. A curse, maybe.
> But your uncouth manners? Never. Remember our time together with fondness,
> Ranma-sama!"
>
> Ranma blinked, as the girls started to leave. "Wait a minute. None of you
> wants to marry me?"
>
> The girls stopped, and looked back at him.
>
> "That's right." Akane said, as the others nodded. They turned and started
> to walk away again.
>
> "Aiyah, good to get load off chest."
>
> "That's saying a lot, coming from someone with your chest, hon."
>
> "Spatula girl watch words. Just cause we no love rivals doesn't mean Shampoo
> can't use bonbori on you."
>
> Ranma blinked, not moving. He opened his mouth, then closed it. He opened
> it again, and said "_They_ dumped _me_?"
>

Ranma's Love Problems Solved! NOT!
by Donny Cheng

"_They_dumped_me_?" Ranma repeated it to himself. Free. Free at last. Never
in his life did he want to make a choice between any of the girls. Though, Ranma
could not help but feel saddened by Akane's rejection, he was at the same time
relieved. It saved him the trouble of breaking her heart. He had been fully
prepared to live a life of chastity as long as it meant he did NOT have to make
a choice. It would have been better for them all to be angry at him rather than
Ak... the girl he might have chosen.

"Oh, Ranma!" A gentle voice called out to Ranma. It was Kasumi. "I heard what
happened, Ranma. You must be totally devastated. Here rest on my bosom."

"Big sister, what are you doing?" Nabiki yanked Ranma away from Kasumi.
"Ranma-kun might get the wrong idea. Now that Ranma is no longer engaged to
Akane, one of us will have to marry him to carry on the dojo." The wheels in
Nabiki's mind was already turning. HUGE PROFIT MARGINGS.

It was then Ranma felt someone pull on his pig tail.

"Jean-Paul, Jean-Paul. Come to mommy." Asuza proceeded to pull the cute length
of hair towards her. Ranma's face ended up right next to hers causing an
accidental full frontal kiss. Asuza blushed. Though she had kissed many a boy
on the cheek as a tactic to win in paired competition, this was the first time
she was kissed on lips. She looked to see who the lips belonged to and saw it
was her mortal enemy Saotome. Asuza knew that it must have been destiny. She
was the one that had given Ranma his first peck on his nose during the figure
skating match (she could tell if a person was a virgin kisser or not).

"Oh my!" Kasumi blushed at seeing Ranma's kiss. She felt sorry for Ranma. She
knew that if Ranma had to marry a Tendo, Nabiki was not all that good a choice.
Being the caring person that she was, she decided to take up the burden. It
wasn't really all that much of a burden, an errant thought crossed her mind as
she looked at Ranma's handsome face.

"Ranma, I just heard the good... uh I mean bad news." Yuka, one of Akane's best
friends, came running up to Ranma. She has had the biggest crush on Ranma since
the beginning of the school year. When she noticed three new girls draped
around Ranma something inside of her snapped. NO! It wasn't fair. The only
reason she didn't actively pursue Ranma before was because she didn't want to
endanger her friendship to Akane. She had lived in hell for a year as she could
only watch as Ranma and Akane get close to each other. There was no way she
would let that happen again. She ran up and glomped onto Ranma.

Ranma struggled to breath under to mass tangle of bodies around him. He looked
to the heavens. Why him?

>From someone NOT utterly sick of seeing Ranma always get the choice. Ranma's ego is one of his idiosyncrasies that I like.

“Still trying to make a name for myself!”
Ranma's Love Problems Solved! NOT! OH, COME ON!

“OH HAHAHAHA!” came the shrill laugh of a voice Ranma dearly wanted to forget. It's too bad that the Kami weren't listening. “Ranma-dearest, I've heard of your pledge to me! You dumped that peasant girl Kodachi in the hopes that I would take you; well, Ranma-dearest, I have ruled in your favor!”

For some reason, Ranma didn't seem to react the way Asuka “The White Lilly” had hoped.

The blare of a foghorn and the darkening of the sky announced the arrival of Monlon from Nekonron, China. The fair-skinned beauty landed lightly on the surface of the sidewalk, looking fresh as a daisy. “Ranma, I have to wed you on behalf of a peace-pact with those of The Seven Lucky Gods. You may have your way with me as you see fit,” The last said with a rosy blush adorning her exquisite face.

Sayuri, while out on an afternoon jog, spotted Ranma. At the moment he was being clung to by Yuka, Nabiki, Kasumi, Azusa, and Asuka, and he had the most beautiful woman Sayuri had ever lain eyes on kneeling to him. “AH! No fair, Yuka! You said we'd go together!” She shouted and joined the group glomp. Her jog to wait awhile.

“AH! Delinquents displaying their private affairs in a place of public!” Hinako raged and pulled free a hundred-yen piece. The girls never had a chance before their lust auras were drained.

However, much like the time when she absorbed too much delinquency aura, the nature of the energy screwed with her adult mind, sending her into a horny craze aimed solely at Ranma.

“Ranma-dear, are you alright?” she inquired as she hefted the husk that was once Ranma in her arms. With gentle hands, Hinako stroked the face of the second man she had ever loved. “Don't worry, Ranma-dear, your Hinako-Sensei will take good care of you…”

Written by another guy who isn't tired of Ranma being the one to make the choice. I also really enjoy the chaos that congregates around Ranma in the many, many fanfics he's in.
