Latchesis broke out into a scowl, for she didnot like this new turn of events.Clotho walked up to her sister and smiled patiently, "We can not change what hasbeen in the tapestry, but we can add variables to make it possibly come to our way ofthinking."Atropus stepped in frowning, "But keep in mind, sister, that this is not the maintimeline where their fate was preordained. Because they live on in the Silver Millennium,and they are all royalty, there is sure to be treatory, as well as, any number of otherunspeakable acts. It is the way of mortals to hurt one another."Latchesis pouted as she folded her arms over her chest. "That doesn't mean I haveto like it."Clotho thought for a moment before saying, "Let us add a new variable to thethreads, sister. Shall we say a new love interest for Selenity, to make her belovedjealous? How about a certain General that died at the Battle of Eris? General Blaine, Ibelieve his name was."Latchesis visibly brightened at the idea of adding more twists to the unfolding plotthat they had labored on for so long. "Yes, Clotho, I think a bit of jealousy will bringEndymion around. When he sees that she is not unattainable like he believes, he will onceagain step forward to offer his hand. But..........but wouldn't it be far easier to justpreordain the match?"Atropus shook her head as she frowned. "That is what was done in the maintimeline. The point of this tapestry is to watch how things unfold naturally, if the SilverMillennium had not ended, with, of course, some added variables to spice up their lives."Yes, I think that General Blaine will do nicely for the role we have in store forhim. I believe he has been away for quite some time, but since he was Selenity's first love,it should be relatively easy to spark her interest again."And so, they set to work, weaving a path to bring General Blaine home to the Moon Kingdom once again.
