Everybody's fool

It was Thursday night and Serena was getting ready for the talent show she was afraid because she knew that Darien and the scouts would be there.

Serena's p.o.v

`OH MY GOD I CANT DO THIS' she screamed in her mind

`What if I screw up what if I fall flat on my face or worse what if I forget my lines?'

`don't be silly you have practiced for weeks on this song it will be ok remember you can do this do you hear me YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!' said another voice in her head.

“And now we have the lovely and talented Miss Serena Tsukino singing Everybody's fool” shouted the announcer who forgot she was using a microphone making everybody cringe.

`oh no I cant back out now ok think of happy things like ummmmm………oh I know I'll think of Darien no wait he's the reason im doing this in the first place I know I will think of my friends yeah no wait that will make me feel worse'

Serena was doing her famous dash to ray's temple she was late AGAIN but this time she really couldn't help it there was another yoma attack at the arcade and she was trying to get them on the communicator but the yoma attacked Andrew and she broke it trying to save him when the yoma was finally destroyed she was half an hour late which she knew would end up in another argument with ray but she really didn't care she was badly wounded from the fight and was using the last of her strength running when she finally got there she was about to open the door when she over herd the scouts talking she knew it was bad to eavesdrop but she couldn't help it. They where talking about her or rather serenity and her.

“I don't know why we even have to be friends with that half wit” ray said

“Because she is our princess and future queen that's why” Amy said

“But why is she such a ditz”

“I don't know its like Serena and serenity are to different people in 1 body”

“Well that mite be true but its serenity who's the future queen not Serena so I say we kick her out” lita said (a.n I think I spelt that right)

“I agree with lita we should kick her out she is of no use to us any more and we don't need her as a queen she will probably blow up crystal Tokyo we should take the crystal off her when she comes it won't be that hard since she is such a klutz” Mina said

`I can't believe those assholes how could they. They expect me to hand the crystal over they don't live my life they don't know who I really am' Serena told herself.

At that she flung open the door and stepped inside and heard gasps for the scouts she was furious and was glowing black with anger then mina spoke

“How much did you hear Serena?”

“All of it and I do admit I am not as graceful or smart but I am princess serenity and future queen and always shall be” while Serena was saying that her eyes began to fade from baby blue to pure black `I have had it with this life I was forced to live I have had it with Darien always breaking my heart I have had it with evil I had had it with these people I HAVE HAD IT WITH BEING SERENITY all these people see is the superficial princess a weakling a spoilt brat they don't want to be bothered to see the real me the person behind the mask the real me well now they had succeeded in making a fool out of me well I will show them who I really am “I AM SERENITY THE PRINCESS OF LIFE AND DEATH THE ANGLE OF THE UNIVERSE AND I WILL NO LONGER BE EVEYBODYS FOOL” and with that she disappeared in a flash of silver and black

`I used to look up to that superficial me but no longer and it is time they knew I will put my heart and soul into this song for the song shows how I feel and how I will no longer be that way'

Was Serena's silent promise she made as she walked to the middle of the well lit stage. Taking the microphone from the announcer and the music began.

 

Perfect by nature icons of self indulgence just what we all need more lies about a world that

`I betrayed myself trying to be someone im not I guess I got court up in the lie I guess I liked the attention how could I have been so foolish'

 

Without the mask where will you hide cant find yourself lost in your lies

`I cant run anymore I have chosen my destiny and I have to stick to it the person they knew was a lie and she is gone forever'

 

I know the truth now I know who you are and I don't love you anymore

 

`I know I will never be happy if I don't be myself and not some fake person who only has companions because of a lie no longer it ends now'

 

It never was and never will be you're not real and you can't save me somehow now your everybody's fool.

 

`I thought I was perfect I thought I had friends and family who loved me but I was wrong they didn't love me they loved a lie and still they hated me everyone will hate me I was destined to be alone and I guess destiny is gust coming true oh well not much I can do but live the life I was given I am the protector of the universe and that is all I hate it I want to live a normal life but I have my destiny chosen for me and I have to live my life and stop the evil from destroying the universe and that is what I will do until the day I die' when the song was over Serena was given a standing ovation but she noticed that all the scouts and Darien had all left `I guess they couldn't stand it' Serena walked off the stage and got her stuff and left before they announced the winner (a.n if your wondering she won :p) and started walking to the park when she bumped into someone “oh im so sorry” when she didn't hear a reply she looked up to see………….(a.n I bet you can guess who it is ) Darien and the scouts standing there “Serena we are so sorry we didn't mean what we said not a word please forgive us” said Amy “Serena the only reason I broke up with you was to protect you I was having strange dreams that told me you would die I didn't want to see you get hurt I love you please forgive me” Darien pleaded `wow they are actually apologizing ha and I thought I had pathetic excuses but this is plan stupid I mean come on he broke my heart and soul because of a dream' and with that Serena feel to the floor in laughter.

Well to say they were shocked would be the under statement of the year. FINALY Serena regained her composer and between gasps said “sorry #gasp# but that #gasp# was the #gasp# the funniest #gasp# thing I ever heard #gasp#” and she started laughing again .

“Serena we are NOT joking” shouted Ray which made Serena stop laughing in a split second “oh well in that case I will not except you pathetic apologies because I am not the person you think I am if you actually listened to my song then you would no I have had enough of this lie I call me” “Serena we know that and we love the real you when you heard us talking we were saying the exactly the same thing we have had enough of the lie as well so please let us be friend with you the real you” said mina with that said a single crystal tear streamed down Serena's face “really” “yes really Serena we love you” said Ray (dum dum dummmmmmmmmmm)

`I cant believe it im not alone' then Serena burst out crying and every one hugged her to calm her down “I love you guys too thank you so much for being my friends” Serena said once she calmed down “we should be thanking you Serena you are the nicest person on earth” said Darien hugging her from behind and then they all walked off in to the sunset happily ever after until “hay Serena you do remember we have that book report due tomorrow” Amy said

This made everyone sweat drop (anime stile) except Serena who simply shouted at the top of her lungs “WE HAVE WHAT” which made everyone sweat drop harder and fall to the ground “sorry guys gotta jet” and with that she ran as fast as she could leaving the others in her dust “I guess old habits die hard” murmured Amy under her breath whilst looking at her friends who were lying on the grounds with big swirls were there eyes should be (anime style)
