Sailor Earth: Banishing the Wiseman Part 1 by Ellie Shields
Ellie walked into the apartment, hoping that someone was home. After all, she
had just spent 2 years in America. She hadn't seen anyone she knew and loved in
ages.
"Hello? Is anyone home?" Ellie stepped into the apartment she shared with
Darien, her older brother.
"Yeah, who is it?" An unfamiliar voice hit Ellie's ears.
"Uh, it's Ellie, this is still Darien's apartment, right?"
"Yeah, I'm his brother."
Ellie froze. She didn't know she had another brother!
"Uhhh......Darien didn't tell me I had another brother..."
"Oh, you must be Ellie." Something moved in the living room, and out from the
shadows came a tall young man, about six feet tall, with deep red eyes and long
jet-black hair. He wore black leather gauntlets with little silver spikes on
them. She felt she knew him from somewhere, but this was her brother, wasn't it?
Still, she thought there was something weird about him. Nobody in the family
looked like him.
"Yeah, I am."
"I'm Demitri." He put his hand out for her to shake. Ellie froze. She knew that
name from somewhere.
"What, you can't move or something?" Demitri retorted.
"Sorry, you just reminded me of someone..."
Demitri was the one who froze now. Did he effectively erase her memories?
"Sorry," she said again. She reached out and took his hand.
"Oh, Ellie..." This voice she knew.
"Darien!"
Ellie let go of Demitri's hand and ran to her brother. "Oh, I've missed you so
much!" They hugged, such a sweet embrace between brother and sister.
"So, how did you like America?" Darien asked.
"Oh, I loved it! I made a lot of new friends and had a blast! I even got a
boyfriend..." Ellie smiled shyly.
"Yeah, I met him....I sensed something weird about him, though..." Darien's blue
eyes looked concerned.
"Not to mention he looks like a pansy," Demitri said, adding in his two cents.
"Hey!!" Ellie gave Demitri the evil eye.
"Oh, I knew this would happen," Darien said, exasperated.
"Hey, Damien said he'd be here..." Ellie pouted.
"Don't worry about it, Ell...By the way, Serena wanted you to go over to her
house as soon as you got back." Darien smiled.
"Gee, I wonder why..." Ellie smiled, because Raye had told her that Serena was
planning a suprise party.
"I'll drive you over there," Demitri said.
"Okay," Ellie said with a smile. The two of them went outside to a blue
convertible.
"Whoah! I'll be arriving in style," Ellie giggled.
"Just don't get any dirt anywhere." Demitri casually put on his sunglasses and
sped out of the parking lot to the Tsukino house.
As they drove to Serena's house, Ellie couldn't help but think she had known
Demitri from somewhere...

"Suprise!" Ellie was greeted by ferocious hugs by Reenie and Serena.
"Welcome home!" Ami said. "I hope you did some studying on the trip home, we
have a big test on Monday..."
"Oh, Ami, how can you even think about studying? This is a party!" Lita said.
"Yeah, you should lighten up a bit," Mina said.
"Well..." Ami didn't look too pleased. Ellie wandered her way throught the crowd
of friends, looking for Michiru and Haruka.
"Hey, you guys!" Ellie said cheerily upon seeing them.
"Hey, Ellie," Haruka said. Michiru smiled at Ellie.
"So, how have things been here lately?"
"Not too bad....But I have seen some shadows in my mirror," Michiru said,
speaking of her talisman.
"Raye's been getting some odd fire readings, too." Haruka sighed.
"So, we may be in for another fight?"
"Very possible..."
