The writing process is difficult. You can see it all play out in your mind, just as it was and just as it will forever be. But how do you translate what is down to paper? You can never fully achieve life in writing. So, this story is a story about true memory. True memory is never in the mind, nor is it in the heart. No one truly knows where your essence's true memory is.

So that was the first paragraph the girl wrote down on her parchment, when she recalled the past. But, like most writers, nothing came from her mind after that paragraph. The girl leaned back in her chair.

"What was that?! That doesn't even introduce what happened!!! How are the readers suppose to know what happened based on that?!!!" Bakunetsumaru's ranting pounded through the girl's head.

"Baku-netsu-maru!!! Can you not see that you just rudely yelled into this fair maiden's ear?!"

Captain, Shute, and the girl sweat-dropped as Zero the Winged Knight and Bakunetsumaru the Blazing Samurai's arguing escalated.

"Besides, isn't this more of a love story than a story about memory?" Shute asked, one eyebrow raised."

"Not really. For one thing, they still didn't get together completely after the adventure ended. At least, not then. And besides, it was all because of true memory that things happened the way they did. Oh, but I just wish I could figure out what to write next! I wasn't even there when half of the adventure happened!"

"Perhaps we may insist in some manner?" Captain politely inquired.

"How….?" The girl groaned in resignation as she thumped her head down on the writing desk within the SDG Base.

"Hey, I've got the perfect idea!" Shute thumped his fist down on his right open palm to emphasize is point. "You're right; you weren't there for most of it. But we were. And if you have writer's block, then we can help you write the story. We can each contribute our own part to the story! Oh, please say yes!"

Captain nodded. "I would be glad to assist you in the telling of this story."

Bakunetsumaru and Zero both looked up from their fight.

"I wish to help tell the story also!" Bakunetsumaru exclaimed.

"As a noble knight of Lacroa, I would be more than happy to help you tell this story. After all, Bakunetsumaru might accidentally ruin your story if I weren't here to help save it." Zero crouched down on one knee and offered the girl a princess rose. Everyone else sweat-dropped, and Bakunetsumaru said a loud "Hey!" in the background.

"All of us would be happy to help!" Shute nodded to confirm his statement. Keiko, Mark (Chief Haro), Julie, Bell Wood, Kao Lin, Gun Eagle, and the others present in the large common room nodded in agreement. They had all been called there to help the girl with her story.

"I can tell you exactly what happened from the Dark Axis viewpoint, since we were still part of them, then." Grappler Gouf said this with a hint of arrogance and pride in his voice.

"I'm sure everyone here who was in the Dark Axis at the time can help tell what happened." The girl rushed to say this, fearful of an argument between Grappler Gouf and Zapper Zaku like the ones between Zero and Baku. Although she would never admit this out loud (lest she start an argument or offend), these arguments frequently reminded her of the arguments between the fictional characters of Gimli and Legolas.

"Either way, Shute, your idea is a great one! That's the perfect way to tell this story! Here, but let me tell the opening sentence…"

Everything faded to darkness with fireflies.
