Filia looked at the snowy ground, her eyes empty.
¡¥Why? Why did you ¡V ¡¥Jiras cried, crying in Filia¡¦s lap?.
The others just sat there, totally motionless.
¡¥Maybe,¡¦ Lina started, sitting with one leg up, ¡¥the one who really
wanted to be released from the great wheel of life, was Valgarv, not you or
me.¡¦
¡¥Valgarv.¡¦ Filia whispered, closing her eyes.
¡¥Filia¡K¡¦ Amelia¡¦s voice trailed off.
¡¥Weird, we won, but we don¡¦t have a bit of victory feeling at all.¡¦
Zelgadiss commented, leaning against his weapon, which was stuck to the snowy
ground.
¡¥Your right.¡¦ Gourry followed.
Serius was silent.
¡¥Well,¡¦ Xelloss looked up at the sky, ¡¥at least our mission¡¦s
accomplished.¡¦
Snow started to fall and cover the whole place.

¡ ¥Darkstar is dead?¡¦ a shadowed figure sitting on big easy chair, holding
a glass of wine said.
¡¥Yes master.¡¦ Two faint grey figures kneeling down replied.
¡¥All in my plans. Very well¡K¡K go get the five Darkstar weapons.¡¦ The
shadowed figure commanded.
¡¥Yes.¡¦ Then the two faint figures disappeared.
¡¥Soon¡K¡K this world would be mine¡K¡K¡¦ the wine glass in his hands
broke.

¡&ye n;Goodbye! Take Care!¡¦ Lina said as the five weapons surrounded Serius.
¡¥You too.¡¦ Serius replied.
¡¥Gourry, are you really gonna give the sword to Serius?¡¦ Lina asked,
looking at him.
¡¥Yup, cause it was suppose to be in their world!¡¦ Gourry said, holding
one finger up.
¡¥Um really?¡¦ was Lina¡¦s reply.
¡¥Actually our real objective of war is to upgrade our knowledge and power,
but we totally forgot about that.¡¦ Serius said, smiling, ¡¥well then goodbye,
hope to see you all again.¡¦ Then he disappeared, with the five powerful
weapons following him.
Lina watched him go away with the others, then turned around and winked at
Filia, ¡¥well then my dear friend, I guess you owe me one.¡¦
¡¥Uh, yes.¡¦ Filia replied, managing a smile.
¡¥I guess we¡¦d have to go then.¡¦ Gourry said.
¡¥Take care.¡¦ Filia said, Amelia walked up to her.
¡¥Don¡¦t take it too hard.¡¦ She said.
¡¥I won¡¦t.¡¦ Filia said gratefully.
¡¥Well then, let¡¦s go my buddies!¡¦ Lina exclaimed, then the four of them
ran away. Leaving Xelloss and Filia looking at them.

¡¥So,¡ ;¦ Xelloss started, turning to Filia with his cherry mask on, who had
her face away from him, ¡¥where are you planning to go?¡¦
¡¥I have nowhere to go, and no place to stay.¡¦ Filia replied, she walked
farther a bit, then teleported out of sight.
Xelloss shook his head, ¡¥this dragon just takes these things too hard on
herself.¡¦ He muttered to himself.

Seriu s stood before a Sanctuary, with ruins surrounding it. He walked in with
the five weapons surrounding him.
He walked along a long wide corridor that led to a big huge hall.
The five weapons went back to their original places, in their own barrier,
sealed.

Two practically identical dark figures watched as the five separate barriers
enclosed the weapons.
Then a huge one automatically formed, sealing it closed.

Filia stepped on the snow that was starting to get thick on the ground of the
ruins at the Fire Dragon Sanctuary. It usually didn¡¦t snow in this eastern
side of the world, which was partly a desert.
She had never really enjoyed snow before in her life, thinking that if felt
like death.
¡¥But I guess this suits perfectly now.¡¦ Filia said to herself bitterly.
A cold breeze blew across her hair. She knelt down and picked up a black
feather, from Valgarv¡¦s wings, then took out the green jade she had found at
the Ancient Dragon Shrine.
¡¥What more have we done? Have we done¡K¡K¡¦ Filia asked herself, looking
down at the two objects in her hands.

What should I do to make you forgive me? What can I do to gain peace in my
life?
Valgarv! What more would you like to get from this world!!
What right did I have to ask him that?
Filia thought, standing up. She
looked out at the ruins of the Fire Dragon Sanctuary.
Her people¡¦s blood where stained on their wings. They were all dead, even
the last one, that was seeking for reborn. Was dead.
How could she have did that? After all her people¡¦s ruthless acts, how
could she have used her powers to kill him?
She felt a heavy burden on her, a burden of repentance for the whole race¡¦s
sin. She was the only one left in the Fire Dragon Sanctuary, although she had
left the Sanctuary already¡K¡K
¡¥I still feel so guilty¡K¡¦ Filia said to herself, burying her face in
her hands, the jade and feather falling to the ground.

Xellos s set foot on the snowy grounds of the ruins of the Fire Dragon
Sanctuary and looked around. He never thought that this place would be covered
with blood so fast.
¡¥But sooner or later.¡¦ Xelloss said to himself. He had figured out that
his mistress had the intention to kill everyone living creature in the Fire
Dragon Sanctuary soon or later.
¡¥And I would be the one to do it I guess.¡¦ He muttered to himself. He
didn¡¦t know why, but after the fight with Valgarv, he had a slight uneasy
feeling about what he was doing now. Or in the past.
He looked up and saw Filia at a distance from him, kneeling down in the snow.

So she really came here. Weird that it¡¦s snowing here.
Xelloss mused
mentally. He walked towards her in light footsteps.

What is she up to?
Xelloss thought.
Filia wiped around suddenly, startling the trickster, her long blond hair
practically slapping his face.
Xelloss blinked, confused for a second.
¡¥What are you doing here?¡¦ Filia asked, glaring at him. She really
wasn¡¦t in the mood to come face to face with someone who¡¦d kill her any
minute.
¡¥And what are you doing here?¡¦ Xelloss asked back calmly.
Filia hesitated for a second, then looked away, ¡¥To mourn.¡¦
¡¥What for? Everything is in the past now.¡¦ Xelloss pointed out.
¡¥I¡¦m not you.¡¦ Filia whispered.
¡¥Huh?¡¦
¡¥I¡&brv bar;m not you!¡¦ Filia shouted, hauling him by the collar.
Xelloss was blank for a while.
¡¥I have guilt, I have self-righteousness! I don¡¦t kill someone and
pretend that nothing had happened before at all!' Filia cried, blinking back
tears.
¡¥I even feel guilty for something that I have never done in the past! I¡¦m
not you, the O mighty mazoku priest Xelloss who can kill a whole race without
even blinking, and smile when they see others blood covered on themselves. I
can¡¦t! And now I¡¦ve done the same fault my people have done before!!¡¦ the
lost priestess screamed.
She stopped panting, then fainted, falling into Xelloss¡¦ chest.
Xelloss was motionless for a while, then looked down at the golden hair. He
picked Filia up and looked at her face.
¡¥I don¡¦t know if I can keep that ruthless up.¡¦ Xelloss whispered,
sighing. Then disappeared, leaving the ruins buried in white snow.
