The Happy Peasants

One town had a bandit problem. So the mayor, Jed, called for some heroes.

And the peasants rejoiced

The hero they found was Lina Inverse. She and her crew arrived at the town

And the peasants rejoiced

and talked to Jed. They finally agreed to take care of the bandits

And the peasants rejoiced

for a price. The mayor agreed and the heroes went to search for the bandits

And the peasants rejoiced

and their treasure. There were a lot of bandits, but Zel and Gourry took care of them.

And the peasants rejoiced

The boss tried to be brave and insulted Lina, big mistake. She took him out with one spell

And the peasants rejoiced

which was unnecessarily big. Then they went to get their reward

And the peasants rejoiced

and a lot of food. They put the restaurant out of business and the cook chased them out of town.

Amelia met an old man who needed help with a dragon, so the heroes left for his town.

The dragon was destructing the town. But the travelers would get rid of it

And the peasants rejoiced

for a price. Amelia led them to the mighty scary dragon's lair

And the peasants rejoiced

and made it angry with a justice speech. Then she attacked it with an emekial lance

And the peasants rejoiced

which didn't work, so she ran away. Then Gourry attacked with the sword of light

And the peasants rejoiced

which missed. To defend Dear Gourry's honor, Sylphiel attacked with a flare arrow

And the peasants rejoiced

which looked like a carrot. She was promptly eaten by the dragon

And the peasants rejoiced (The author too!)

Zelgadis stepped up. He used shamanism to summon a stone dragon

And the peasants rejoiced

which fell on his head. Lina decided to face the dragon and began to cast a spell

And the peasants rejoiced

which was an overkill dragonslave. The dragon was turned into a pile of ashes

And the peasants rejoiced

along with half the town. When she asked for her pay, Lina was chased out of that town too.

And the peasants rejoiced

So, the cycle continues...

And the peasants rejoice

Peasant: No, we're on strike! {hold up picket sign::Stop the madness}
