“Whoa! Who was that guy?” Knuckles said.
“Dunno but he looked mean!” Amy said.
“We need to find the chaos emeralds before he does!” Rouge cut in.
“I agree! We must split up!” Sonic agreed.
“Ok I will search in the desert!” Knuckles shouted, “I know that place.”
“Fine, I'll take the oasis!” Rouge said.
“Cool, I'll take the forest!” Shadow said.
“Me and Cream with search in the city!” Amy said.
“Cool, I'll search the jungle!” Sonic said.
“Leaves me with the beach!” Tails said.
 
The group split up. All of them were holding communicators.
Shock's chaos, Fear and Death, were listening in on the conversation. After hearing they rushed to their master.
 
“Master!” Death said.
“What?” Shock replied.
“We have information for you!” Fear announced.
They had a long conversation about the splitting up of the group.
“Good! We will take them out one by one!” Shock shouted, “First we must get Rouge!”
Shock rushed off to the oasis.
 
Meanwhile, Rouge was looking everywhere.
“Ugg… there's nothing here!” Rouge complained.
“Look closer you fool!” Shock shouted.
Rouge looked up and saw Shock looking right at her.
“What do you want?” she said.
“Hah! As if you didn't know.” Shock said.
“Oh a chaos emerald!” she replied, “To bad there's nothing here.”
“Really?”
“Yeah!”
“Fine, I'll take another treasure!”
“What?”
“YOU!!!”
Rouge ran.
“Oh don't run my pretty!”
Shock ran along the wall to catch up. He jumped right in front of her.
“I'm not going without a fight!” she shouted.
“Fine!” he scoffed.
 
Rouge ran towards Shock. He teleported behind her!
“How… How did you do that!?” she announced.
Shock laughed and flipped his chaos emerald in his hand. He threw it up spun around caught it and shouted, “TAKE THIS!!!” Shock flew forward knocking Rouge unconscious. Shock stepped over her and put his hand to her forehead.
“You work for me now!” Shock whispered.
Rouge eyes opened, but they were a bright red.
“Yes master!” she said.
