Sonic Series ❯ Trip to Universal Studios ❯ At the park ( Chapter 6 )

The next day, everyone (except Shadow) gathered in the van.

 “Where is he?” Sonic asked.

 Manic leaned on the door. “I bet he’s finishing up his skin care routine.”

 “No, that’s at night.” Sonia said, getting the GPS ready. “He was just filling up our water bottles.”

 “Can we take water bottles?” Surge asked.

 “Yeah.” Sonia replied.

 Manic shrugged. “I didn’t know.”

 “Well, if you buy bottled water at the park, you can refill it for free at the filling stations.” Tails replied. “What we probably should’ve done was buy ponchos or umbrellas. It rains occasionally here.” 

 Shadow finally came outside with his and Sonia’s water cups. He got on the bus and handed Sonia her cup. “Okay, you got it set up?”

 “Yeah, thanks, Sweetie.” Sonia said, putting her cup into the cupholder.

 Shadow closed the door, then buckled his seatbelt. “Alright, let’s go.”

 Shadow parked the bus in the Universal studios parking garage.

 Manic pointed to the sign. “We’re in the Jurassic lot.”

 “That’s something we could remember.” Sonic said. “More parking garages should adopt that system.”

 Everyone got out and started walking to the gate.

 Manic grinned. “Sweet, they’re playing the Jurassic Park theme.”

 “Wow, it’s huge.” Sonia said. 

 They all got on the moving sidewalk.

 Manic shook Surge’s shoulder. “Look, they got the visitors center like the one in the movie.”

 “That’s cool.” Surge replied. “You mind not shaking me though?”

 “Oh, sorry.” Manic said.

 “We have to go through security here too?” Kit asked. 

 “Makes sense.” Sonic replied.

 Everyone got through the security checkpoint easily except Surge.

 A gray Mobian squirrel security guard stepped over to Surge. 

 “It’s my cyborganics.” Surge said. “They set off the machines sometimes. Got them in my head and arms.”

 The security guard waved the wand over Surge again. “Yeah, that’s what it was.” He said. “Sorry about that, ma’am.”

 “It’s fine.” Surge replied. She walked over to Manic.

 “You get mad at me when I call you ma’am, Surge.” Kit said.

 “You’re not standing between me and Jurassic World.” Surge replied.

 “Okay, meet at the gate if we don’t meet up sooner.” Sonic said. “Use your phones if you need to find one of us.”

 Everyone agreed.
