Warning: o.O Weirdness? Depression-ish...yep...Angsty!Omi...o_o; Omi-torture? Yep. XD Fun.

Disclaimer 1: Even though I wish that the Weiss Kreuz characters belonged to me so that I may
cause more harm than is humanly-necessary upon sweet lil' Omi -- *cough* I mean. None of the
characters in Weiss belong to me. Damnit. >.>;
Disclaimer 2: The idea and plotline for this fic is all mine. I think I was on something when I came
up with it. *nodnod* Any similarities to any other fic you might've read is highly unexpected.

====================================================== ==================

Ramblings: This is my first Weiss fic, admittedly...and hopefully it won't suck too much.
x_x; I really have no set time as to when this occurs...*cough* I just know that it happens some
time when they know of Schwarz. e.e; *shrug*

The fic in itself might seem a tad...strange. >.>;;; But hopefully not too confusing?

*hopehopehopes!*

._. Anyways. I hope that you all enjoy it...*sigh*

And I apologise beforehand for any mistakes you might find. x__x

[side thanks to Sakki, Omi, Saria and RD who read this before I decided to actually upload it..]

A Wish's Simplicity (Teaser)

========================================================= ===============

Wordlessly, he curled up upon his windowsill, eyes gazing out his window, up at the sky.

He'd messed up, terribly, this time.

If it wasn't for him, then he was certain that he would be alright.

A small whimper issued from the youth's throat as he curled up even more, tearing his gaze from the sky, and looking downwards, at the ground.

He could hear the voices that drifted down from upstairs; mere whisperings that more than likely involved him, and his idiotic mistake.

He'd been so careless.

He didn't blame them for being upset at him -- heck, he was upset at himself.

Moisture burned at the corners of his eyes, and with a frustrated sound, he reached up, furiously attempting to stop the tears that threatened to fall.

Attempts proved to be futile as they fell, encouraged on by the sudden tirade of thoughts that'd washed over him.

Even now, hours later, he could still hear the angered tones of his teammates as they moved towards him.

And he, himself, had merely watched.

Weapon of choice fell from his suddenly-numb hands as he watched them crowd about the fallen's form.

Small daggers clattered onto the ground, immediately forgotten as their owner fell to his knees, darkening blue eyes staring silently upon the three some feet away from him.

One of them -- their leader, per say -- glanced over his shoulder, amethyst eyes turning even colder as they briefly glanced at the youngest of their group.

After a few curt words, the redhead turned back towards the other two, watching critically as the eldest of them gently scooped the injured into his arms.

They both stood as one.

Another bout of words, before they receeded into the darkness and shadows shrouding the area.

The words voiced rang, clear as a bell, through his head.

His eyes closed, hand clenching into a loose fist before he gazed back out at the sky.

Ebony black clothed the city in its inky blackness.

He strained, moving closing to the window, staring intently through the glass panes.

Silver flickered weakly, attempting to stand visable within the seemingly neverending darkness.

Small smile made its way slowly upon his face as he took note of the sole star.

His next course of action was foolish, childishly so, but he didn't care:

"Starlight, star bright...

First star I see tonight.

I wish I may..

I wish I might...

Have the wish I make tonight..."

A pause, as he attempted to collect his 'wish' into semblance of making actual sense.

"...I wish that..."

The star flickered, slightly.

"They didn't know of me..."

Another small flicker.

"For...all I seem to do is hinder them in all that they do...a liability, one could say."

Surprisingly-bitter laugh.

"I wish..."

"That.."

"Things would.."

"Change."

End Musings: x_x *ducks behind conveniently-placed wall* Pleasedonthurtme! I know it was
terrible...but I tried...x___x; It's my first Weiss fic so...yeah...*whimpers* Any comments/feed-
back/flames can be sent on over to kitsune_atarashii@hotmail.com or voiced in a handy review.

Oh. And the title...it's an oxymoron to the fic itself. X3 But only those who I told the plot to
would actually get that reference as of now...the rest of you might get it after the fic develops
some more.

Anyways. Should I continue this? Or just...leave it to rot in the darkest pits of Hell?
