Chapter 3

"The New Beginning"

Sakura looked at Syaoran's apartment.

Tomoyo: Well?

Sakura: He's probably gone back to China.

Tomoyo: It won't hurt to try. Now go! I'll wait here.

Sakura sighed and walked up to Syaoran's room. She knocked twice.

Syaoran: HOLD ON!

Sakura: He's still home?

Syaoran opened the door. When he saw Sakura, he frowned.

Syaoran: What do you want?

Sakura: How long are you going to be mad at me?

Syaoran: Am I not supposed to be mad at you?

Sakura looked at him with tears.

Syaoran: Am I? What if I did that to you? Would you be mad? OF COURSE YOU WOULD!!!

Sakura: Look, I went to Haci's party last month and there was probably alcohol and I probably had some and-

Syaoran: That I can understand, but you're pregnant!

Sakura: I'm sorry.

Syaoran: Sakura, you were the first girl I ever loved.

Sakura looked down.

Syaoran: And by the looks of it, you won't be the last.

He shut the door.

Sakura: If you ever want to talk, I'll be in New York.

She exited the apartment with tears.

Two Months Later…

RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING! RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!

Sakura woke up.

Kero: HEY! IT'S TIME TO GO!!

Sakura woke up.

Sakura: What?

Kero: Let's go!

Sakura got up and got dressed and brushed her teeth. She got her luggage and headed for the door.

Kero: Can I come?

Sakura: What? Why?

Kero: For support.

Sakura rolled her eyes.

Sakura: Fine! Get in the luggage.

Kero: YAY!

He flew into the luggage and Sakura got in the elevator. Her cell phone rang.

Sakura: Hello?

Tomoyo: Sakura, are you almost ready?

Sakura: I'm heading for your house right now!

The elevator door opened. Sakura walked outside and smiled. Tomoyo and her limo were right outside the apartments. Tomoyo waved.

Sakura: Tomoyo, you didn't have to.

Tomoyo: Come on!

They both went inside the limo and headed to the airport.

Meanwhile…

Joey: Yugi, are you ready?

Yugi: Yeah.

Tea walked into the room and smiled.

Tea: I'll be heading to New York in a couple of days.

Yugi: Thanks Tea. It means a lot that you'll be there.

Tea kissed Yugi in the cheek.

Tea: Good luck.

Yugi: Thanks.

Joey rolled his eyes.

Yugi and Joey walked out of the house and headed for the airport in their car.

Nearby…

Zephyr grinned.

Zephyr: How nice. Both Sakura and Yugi heading for the same place at the same flight.

Voice: You do know Sakura will find out eventually.

Zephyr: It's funny the Cerberus returned. There's no doubt Yue's alive as well.

Voice: Why do you think this is funny?

Zephyr: Because Sakura wanted her friends back, so she must've done some magic to bring them all back. Meaning that they all forgot about my father and I.

Voice: What are you going to do now?

Zephyr: Well, both of them haven't used magic in a while. I think we should give them a test.

He laughed hysterically.

Two Hours Later…

Sakura and Tomoyo walked into the airplane.

Flight Attendant: Hello.

Sakura: Hi.

They showed her the tickets.

Flight Attendant: First class, right up front.

Sakura and Tomoyo smiled and walked inside. There were ten chairs, two in the front, two in the middle, two in the back, two next to the left window, and two next to the right.

Tomoyo: Let's sit in the middle!

Sakura walked and bumped into someone.

Sakura: Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!!

That someone was Yugi.

The moment they saw each other, they blushed.

Sakura: Umm, aren't you Yugi? The winner of the-

Yugi: Yeah.

Joey: Hey sweetie, I'm Joey.

Sakura rolled her eyes. Joey groaned.

Joey: It was worth a shot.

Tomoyo: Hi Joey. I'm Tomoyo.

Joey: Hey Tomoyo.

They both sat in the middle seats.

Yugi: Wanna sit in the front?

Joey: Cool! There are mini TVs in the back of each seat!

Yugi: Awesome!

He sat in front of Joey. Sakura smiled and sat next to him, which was in front of Tomoyo. While Joey and Yugi were talking, Sakura started whispering to Tomoyo.

Sakura: Why are you sitting next to him?

Tomoyo: Joey's kinda cute.

Sakura rolled her eyes.

Tomoyo: You know you like Yugi.

Sakura: What are you talking about? We just met.

Tomoyo: Oh my god! They have "Finding Nemo"! That was such a cute movie.

Sakura: I didn't like it. It's too kiddy.

Tomoyo: All the girls in our class loved it!

She pushed some buttons on the mini TV and put on her headsets.

Joey: Ooh! "2 Fast 2 Furious", awesome!

He put his headsets on and pressed the PLAY button.

Sakura: So, are you looking forward to the tournament?

Yugi: You bet! I can't wait.

Sakura: I have a question, why do you duel? Is it for money?

Yugi: Of course not. In all of my tournaments, there was one main purpose. In Duelist Kingdom, my grandfather was-

He looked at Sakura, thinking she wouldn't believe that his grandfather's soul was taken away from the creator of Duel Monsters.

Sakura: You were saying?

Yugi: Umm, my grandfather needed surgery, and we didn't have the money. So I dueled for that.

Sakura: What was wrong?

Yugi: Um, his, uh, heart was very, very weak.

Sakura: Oh my god, is he okay?

Yugi: Oh yeah. He's fine.

The airplane started moving.

Yugi: I guess we're flying.

Sakura: Yeah.

Yugi: Hey, you never told me why you were going to New York.

Sakura: Um, I'm just visiting.

The plane started going into a high velocity.

Yugi: We're almost going up into the sky.

Sakura: So, why are you dueling in the Rose Tournament?

Yugi looked at down.

Sakura: What's wrong?

Yugi: I'm just dueling for fun.

Sakura looked at him suspiciously as the airplane flew into the sky, where many adventures lie ahead…

His eyes glowed blue. Sakura woke up in a trance and started walking to the left side of the plane.

Yugi woke up.

Yugi: Sakura?

Sakura opened the emergency exit and flew to the top of the plane, where Zephyr stood.

Yugi: SAKURA!
