The invasion of Momobara Kingdom came with no warning. Lord Itamiô, along with the Yûhi Ninja, invaded Momobara Castle early one evening. There had been a moderately-sized team of White and Black Sorcerers deployed to the Kingdom that evening in order to combat him (they dared not send any Sorceresses, knowing what the awesomely-powerful hanyô craved), which Itamiô and the Yûhi Ninja took out with very little effort. The quartet managed to break through security by slaughtering all the security personnel they encountered. When they finally made it to King Satoshi Kireihana's office, Lord Itamiô killed the King's White Sorcerer bodyguard, then busted down the door and challenged Kireihana to a game of Duel Monsters. Kireihana's deck was powerful for the ruler of a large, prosperous kingdom, but alas, it was no match for Itamiô's deck. After Kireihana collapsed and wept in defeat, Itamiô unsheathed his weapon, the almighty Millennium Sword. He raised the sword and drove it straight through the chest of the fallen King. The sword drove through his chest, as if it were transparent. Kireihana let out a bloodcurdling scream as his very essence was drained from him. As soon as his soul, life force, and mana were completely absorbed. He collapsed, having been murdered in a very clean manner. The Millennium Sword glowed with a bright, mystic energy as Itamiô's mana increased slightly. The sword was slowly withdrawn, and placed back in Itamiô's sheath. After acknowledging the praise from his Ninja, Itamiô's eyes then gazed over to the King and entire Kingdom's ultimate treasure, sitting in a small picture frame on his desk. Why King Kireihana didn't use it in his deck was beyond Itamiô's understanding. After all, no strong Duelist would ever turn down the opportunity to put in their deck the legendary _Five-Headed Dragon_...

A short time later, Ôtori Academy was taken over by Kôshirô, per Itamiô's orders. He handed the Chairman, Akio Ôtori, a most incredible defeat, and Itamiô impaled him with his sword. This action killed Akio, and further increased Itamiô's power. After disposing of nearly all of Momobara's police force outside (killing all of the male officers, and transporting all of the female officers to the Castle's dungeon, where he had already locked up all of Kireihana's female servants), Itamiô stepped in and dubbed Kôshirô the new Chairperson of the Academy, which became Inazumano Academy a few moments later. Kireihana's deck was powerful for the ruler of a large, prosperous kingdom, but alas, it was no match for Itamiô's deck. After Kireihana collapsed and wept in defeat, Itamiô unsheathed his weapon, the almighty Millennium Sword. He raised the sword and drove it straight through the chest of the fallen King. The sword drove through his chest, as if it were transparent. Kireihana let out a bloodcurdling scream as his very essence was drained from him.
