"Yuugi!" Anzu called, and knocked on the door of the Turtle Game Shop, for what seemed like the umpteenth time that day.
Obviously neither Yuugi or oji-san were able to answer, the thing that bothered Anzu was that Yuugi was always ready,
and never broke his promises. Tonight she and Yuugi were supposed to go out to have dinner together, and maybe see a movie
afterwards.

Adverting her gaze to the street Anzu noted that a familiar black limousine was parked outside the game shop, it belonged
to Kaiba, but what was he doing there?

Shivering and cold Anzu wished she would have brought a jacket with her, her current outfit, a strapless white dress with
matching pumps, wasn't enough to keep out the impending cold. Gently resting her hand on the door knob she found it was open,
and she carefully made her way into the shop, which to her surprise looked completely empty, even the lights were switched off.

"Yuu-" Anzu's sentence was cut off when a figure in a navy blue trench coat plummeted into her, she didn't catch a glimpse
at the face of the person, but she assumed it to be none other than Kaiba Seto. "Kaiba what on Earth are you doing here?"
she asked quietly.

Whoever it was didn't reply it just got up and dashed out the open front door, and slammed it shut. Anzu quickly got up
and switched the lights on revealing the intact game shop. She looked down on her dress and noticed bright red stains now
littered the bottom half, dashing to the front door she swung it open and looked around, Anzu hoped Kaiba would still be
there, he might be able to tell her if something was wrong.

To her disappointment she found no one was there, and once more noted that the limousine was gone, surely it must have been
Kaiba.

Anzu shrugged this sudden happening off, and a little more cautiously advanced further into the shop, she walked quietly while
humming to herself, her auburn hair framed her face and swayed back and forth with her every movement. Walking up the stairs
she noticed Yuugi's bedroom door was left wide open. She smiled to herself, Yuugi must have been discussing with Kaiba, he might
have not heard the doorbell ring. Relieved she walked into the room and looked around, however she found no one.

"Hello, anyone here?" she called out, her voice wavering with a slight hint of fear. At this point Anzu had no clue as what to do,
everything had gone wrong, she let out a faint sigh and walked over to the window, she brushed her fingertips along the smooth cool
glass, staring out at the trees that were turning red, orange, and yellow with the coming of the fall.

A single crystalline tear fell down the side of her face, and she lowered her gaze to the ground, to her surprise she saw more
stains of red on the carpet making a trail. Could it be blood? More than a little frightened she followed the distinctive
trail right until she met with the closed door of the connecting bathroom.

Swinging the door open, she let out a blood curling scream that seemed to shake the whole house, there on the clean white tiled
floor lay the bloodied and broken body of Yuugi Mutou.

His small crumpled body lay thrown against the bathtub, which was now over flowing with water, his blood mixed with it, turning
the water a sickly shade of red. Yuugi's tri-colored hair now drooped down to his shoulders, his face wore a pained look,
Anzu dared herself to move closer the the small teenager, to see if he was still alive. As she moved closer her head began to
whirl, and the sight of so much blood made her feel faint, she walked on towards the spot where he lay still and quiet. Now she
was close enough to see what had happened, there were three small bulletholes in his chest, she saw it rise and fall slowly.
Yuugi was still alive.

"Yuugi what happened to you?" She lowered herself to the ground, and shifted Yuugi so that he was leaning against her, Anzu gently
moved her arms around his waist, her hands becoming stained with the fierce red of blood.

No answer...

Silent tears of grief, puzzlement, and anger streamed down Anzu's face, who could have done this to her Yuugi? The realization hit
her like a ton of bricks, it was Kaiba... No one else had been in the shop, no one else, and Yuugi wouldn't leave her...he had
to much to live for.

"Anzu...Anzu why are you crying?" a small voiced choked out.

"Oh God, Yuugi I-I don't know what to say I'm sorry." Anzu replied, somehow she knew Yuugi wouldn't live through this.

"Anzu, please don't cry, don't be upset. I love-" Yuugi's tired voice was cut off by a brilliant flash of light that was emitted
from the Millennium Puzzle, his most prized possession. When the light had gone, Anzu opened her eyes and saw the now shattered
Millennium Puzzle on laying in pieces on the the floor, in a pool of blood, Yuugi's blood.

"No, YUUGI!!!" Anzu sobbed, and hugged the now lifeless body close to her own, the contrast of his red blood against her white
dress was beyond words.

The Millennia had been forever broken...
