Chapter Two: Noferatu and Lycan meet.
Scene: The girl's home.
(Mother...I hate you. Enemies surround me
because of your curse...my curse, moon
mother. You bestowed it upon me with
your pale light, but dear mother you...
have ruined me.) -Julia
~Girl's POV~
What was with this kid? He had been sleeping since last night and now it was midday.
He must be really hurt by silver. I'm tempted to get his blood, but then I remember
the taste of a lycan's blood, it's not pleasant. So I go down to the cellar to get a pack
from my stores.
~Yusuke's POV~
I watched her go downstairs through one eye, apparently she hadn't noticed I was awake.
I start to get up, but I wince in pain, growling as I lay back down. Apparently the silver hurt
me more than I knew, but luckily, someone bandaged my wounds. It must have been the
No-life girl, but we are enemies, so why would she help me?
`Why did she help us? This could be a trap, be on your guard.`
*Of course.*
I watch the girl come back from the cellar, her fangs buried into a blood bag and
one more in her other hand..
She looks over to me.
"About time you woke up." she tells me, draining a little blood from the bag.
~Girl's POV~
I watch him struggle to get up and look at me as I narrow my eyes slightly, I
drain the remaining blood from the bag and toss it in the trash can. Then go
over to push him back to the futon.
"Lycan, don't move, do you want to die?"
~Yusuke's POV~
`She has the nerve to threaten us? We should sever her head right now!`
*You know it wouldn't do any good. She'd just re-attach it and then try to kill us. {1}
Also I don't think she's threatening us, we probably would die from the poison in our wounds.*
`Yes, I suppose you're right.`
I look up to her, growling a little.
"Why are you keeping me here? This house smells of death and bothers my nose."
She, frowns, looking down at me, then sighs and sits down beside me.
"As much as I'd 'love' to let kick you out of my home lycan, I am in debt to you for
saving my life. Therefore, I won't let you leave until you've healed." she tells me sternly.
~Author's POV~
Yusuke continues to stare at the girl with a mild expression on his face and she looks at
him the same way.
"Well? Aren't you hungry?" she asks, draining another blood pack.
His stomach growls.
"Yeah, you wouldn't happen to have any raw steak would you?"
"Let's see." she replies, going over to the fridge and rambling around in it for a second
before triumphantly pulling out a nice sized steak.
She puts it on a plate and hands it to Yusuke, along with a fork and knife.
He takes the plate and ignores the offered utensils, sinking his sharp canine teeth into the soft meat.
"Ugh, this meat tastes terrible, what'd you do, soak it in liquid silver?"
`I agree, we shouldn't eat this.`
*Listen here, I haven't eaten in 4 days so I'm gonna eat anything offered to me, got it?!*
`...`
The girl's eye twitches, but she ignores his comment.
"What's your name, lycan?" she asks him, watching as he takes another bite of the steak.
"Yusuke, what's yours?" he replies, chewing the steak.
"It's...
