You know what? I love you. Lee and Gaara are two of my all-time favourite Naruto characters, but I'd never dared to hope for a fic which pairs them together so successfully and enjoyably as this one. I'd love you and your fics just for the Gai/Kakashi, but this blew me away! I don't care if your brand of romance isn't the conventional type - thus far, it's the only one I've seen that works so seamlessly with the characters. This is a wonderful, wonderful story, and part of me hopes that it will never end. (Except that the only way that would happen is if you never updated again, and then I would have to bash my head against a wall repeatedly for ever intimating that I would appreciate an outcome like that.) The only negative things I did notice about the fic were a few spelling and grammar errors, plus a sennin/sannin mix-up. (Althought that might have been in one of your other fics. I forget.) Certainly nothing requiring anything more than a quick edit, and so in short: excellent work! I shall be eagerly awaiting more. :D

Hurrah, all 10's! I don't normally write reviews (chronically shy, ya know) but your stories and writing style are just so spectacular that I felt it would be an injustice to leave them unpraised ^_^ Althought "Diplomatic Relations" was the first of your fics that I read, after getting a taste of your style I moved on and read all of your other Naruto fics, so consider this a kind of joint review for all of them--a multiple congratulations on a job well done sorta thing... if that made any sense at all o_O Anyways, in short: amazing work, please keep updating and coming out with new stuff!

Wow, this is so incredibly good. Your kind of romance is the best, no worries there! ^_^ And, yay, Lee did the "good guy" pose with the extended thumb, that and Gaara's reaction really made me crack up. Gaara's practical no-nonsense approach to sex feels very much in character for him, so that was perfect, too. All in all, I enjoyed this chapter a lot. ....Uh, by the way, I sent you an amazon gift certificate a while ago, but don't know if you noticed or if it's even wanted. *embarrassed*

Okay, I admit I read this story just b/c I got weary of waiting for more "Freeport". Never got much into Naruto before but, of course, this is so well-written I can't help getting involved with Lee and Gaara. Sweet and appears in character (tho I'm not an expert in Naruto). Am also looking forward to how you are going to do the NC-17. Also like the integration of plots with the character development. Very well done! Keep writing!

I never would have read this myself, not being into the Naruto fandom anymore, but a friend of mine insisted. I must admit, it was a little tough getting through the first couple of chapters. But once I hit chapter 7 or so, I was eager to continue. ^_^ Good job! I'm really looking forward to reading more of this.

can't wait till the next weekend for your next update...*happy dance* I like how the story is going. Good to see the konoha characters like Gai, Kakashi and Tsunade. Hopefully the leegaara part will come soon. But its worth the wait. I like long stories anyway. Its good to build up the relationship before anything happens too fast. Oh, its great that Lee realises his true feelings for Gaara. Really admire your writing skills
