I think this chapter of yours has been the one to have blown me out of the water. Ok so I was bad and haven't done my homework (kinda like Roy, maybe that's why I like him), but I think I could go on all night about this story of yours. I have been reading your FMA fanfic (sorry I don't know the storylines for the others yet) and I think you have some great talent, but this has confirmed what the others only hinted at. To be able to show emotion and catch the reader up into the world of the writer in such a short space is truely amazing, especially since it didn't leave the reader begging for more. AHHHH, now I'm getting philosophical so I'll stop, Great Job. (I think that I'm becoming your fan =)

Amazing, though I think that all RoyRiza fics are cool. This was really good. I like Havoc's response to Riza desroying his cigarettte.

I really enjoyed this fic! Too bad a second chapter isn't required. I like the concept of the small things being the important things, and the formal ones being less pressing. This is how I imagine Roy to be - thoughtful and (ugh) sensitive. And Riza getting caught up in the business end of things - so her! I'm only up to episode 18 of the anime, so I'm not much of an expert on the military characters except for Mustang, because they haven't been in it a lot yet, but I know enough to know that this story is written in character. (Personally, I don't enjoy fics that change a character's personality.) All in all, I really enjoyed this fic and let me tell you, I am very picky!
