Wow. To be honest, I didn't know anyone was still writing Inuyasha fanfiction! I've been reading it for ages, but only the old stuff. I only recently re-discovered Media Miner, and I'm glad to see that at least one wonderful writer is still going! This story is very unique, which in and of itself is impressive. I just read a couple of your other stories, too, and I'm already becoming a fan =) By the way... I'm not sure if you read the manga too, or just watch the anime, but if you haven't read the very latest chapters, you might want to... it's an interesting twist.

Wow!! That was pretty darn original. I've never seen this take done before! So, my question is, if he chose Kagome, the youkai would give Kagome back her soul or she would use Kagome's soul instead of Kikyo's? Sorry...I'm slow. >.< This is getting really interesting. I hope his wish won't backfire, like Kagome returns back to her time sans Inuyasha. Or something that dramatic like, but knowing you, the Queen of Angst, I won't be surprised! *lol* One little thing, you might want to go back and edit later, you some word omissions. Nothing major, if you want me to point them out, me emails on my page. ^_^ -Yang

Great story. I dont think Ive read one like it. I liked how you kept the doppelganger changing back and forth, tyring its best to confuze InuYasha. I like this alot. Update when you can.

Yay!! You're back! ^_^ This is going to be really good! Here's hoping Inuyasha can see past a naked Kikyo! I believe he can. *lol* I just read the newest chapter too. LW, I have read your work before and all of your stories seem to be very high quality to me. I was thrilled to see that you were doing a new IxK tale. (My favorite pair because the characters work so well together in any story.) You went straight for the heart of the reader in this chapter one; and what an e-vil cliffy at the end. I can't belive in it!!! I was thinking about a plot much like this. I'm no author ( i'm brazilian, so I would write in portuguese, but I don't have time or experience for this). I was wondering about Kagome death after the final battle (she would give up her soul to Kikyou so inuyasha would not go to hell and be happy with the miko) and Kikyou becoming alive. But Inuasha would wither without the girl and so Kikyou wold use the jewel to restore de girl's soul (just a summary of my imaginary story) So now I'm very happy to find a plot so similar. I can't wait to read more, my dear. Go ahead!! I'm sure it will be great! A warm hug from Brazil, Lere

Lara, please tell me the 'IxK' in your summary means Inuyasha/Kagome and not Inuyasha/Kikyou. I love reading anything you write, but Inu/Kik is pushing it for me. ^_^ Anyway, great first chapter. I think you have Inuyasha and Kagome in character pretty well. I like it so far and I hope to see your update soon. :)
