i like though i would like to know where in the stargate timeline this takes place, is it before or after finding Reese? finding the internet would be good for ranma maybe start inventing new technology's using the info from the net and manga like ghost in the shell and son goku midnight eye. exploring finding knowledge and tech left behind like the ancient outpost at the poles. though i do wonder why ranma hasn't thought of making a change to his male form so he doesn't loose the abilties he has like the hyperlink with his/her drones/creations sort of like the borg queen. ranma improving his or her tech used in her body and the drones, with the internet ranma could likely connect or find a way to connect to systems that have stuff like stargate knowledge. heck he could create a human drone to hold a copy of him like in mother of storms the optimizers evolved and took on traits of those it worked with in essence a pale copy so he can send it where he can't go if you will. from what i have remembered just now it must be before finding Reese as sg1 don't say anything about human form bugs just chief bug well is that right? is there going to be any other xover or just ranma/stargate? well update soon please as i have enjoyed these two chapters so far, makes me wonder who that Calypso creature is, will ranma make tech like ships and new technology like healing devices.

Interesting, I liked it. Not many good Ranma/Stargate cross fics. And having Ranma being a human-form replicator with her army of 'bugs' makes it all the better. Of course the problem with the pronouns is maddening. Ranma+female form = "she" not "he"

I must say that I am liking your "Photocopy" series more than I thought I would when I first read chapter one. I can not wait to see the next chapter I wander what will happen when SG1 meets Ranma or when Carter finds out where the shields came from. I hope that the next chapter comes out really soon.

Sorry I didn't pay too much attension to the spelling an stuff, but even with my HIGHLY limited knowledge of star gate I'm really liking this fic. Please update, and PLEASE DO NOT make Ranma go "Evil" or anything

When I started to read your story called Photocopy I almost didn't recognize the replicators untill further info was provided and that I found incredibly enjoyable and also I would never have known about the Replicators if it was not for a friend of mine and his fanftical intrest in the show Stargate SG:1. I hope you are able to continue this story thread to its finish and I look forward to reading more of your literature.

If Ranma does sponsor annual contests, not connected with each other of course, he might want to also sell books under aliases that helps teach them up to a certain level and inspire others to come up with new ideas and encourage them to enter the competitions, which could be set up like olympics or art contests. Under his original identity, he could sell martial arts and basic ki skills with the hook being working up to throwing a ki projectile.

Comment/Review:
One idea could be for Ranma to have several aliases and advertise being a detective, "ghost buster", demon hunter, security trouble consultant, specialized archeological investigator, and high-tech technical consultant. This could borrow ideas from "Ghost in the Shell", "Ghostbusters", "X-Files", "Goku's Mid-night Eye", etc. This would allow Ranma to investigate mystical sources and energies and "bleeding-edge" technology. He might borrow an idea from "Ghost in the Shell" where replicators are used to make remote-controlled robot bodies so he does not have to travel much himself. Ranma might also sponser annual competitions around the world in various high-tech, martial arts, and mystical contests and conferences with sharing of information that also happens to give Ranma new information to periodically assimilate. He might have some remote-controlled disguised robots to act as judges. This would allow some smaller stories among the more galactic stories. Ranma might even run into Scooby-Doo scenarios with con-men and mis-attributed events and Buffy the Vampire Slayer adventures too. "X-files" stories might also be a source of ideas, though avoiding the stories that might be too disjointed would need to be done.

Comment/Review:
If you are looking for ideas, here are some: Consider how much of a bad reputation the replicators have and the factions views on controlling them, hostility, or neutral. Aside from the possible escaped other replicators (depending on whether or not they were all destroyed) there is the bunch called the Asurans is Stargate Atlantis that might view destroying a rival as having a higher priority than the other humans, especially if it turns out that Ranma has strong Ancient heritage. Ranma might take an interest in information sources and hooking up to such networks rather than necessarily conquering them (though hacking and haivng a backdoor and secret ultimate authority control might be done). There are a few Ancient information sources that might be of interest or even attempting to re-construct and repair various Ancient and long forgotten civilizations' ruins to see what could be learned from them. One policy that Ranma might have is not take material that is being used or claimed by innocents and the weak (beyond information), thought that still leaves a lot of other things. You might want to read the webcomic "A Miracle of Science" for an idea of what Ranma type replicators could become in the Mars network mind: http://project-apollo.net/mos/index.html

Comment/Review:
Aside from discovering and connecting to the internet would be to act as its protector from malware. For raw material, one possibility is to just extract carbon from the atmosphere (such as carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide) to make carbon-based materials like carbon fiber, diamond and bucky-tubes. Another is to use silica from deserts, sands, and rocks. For space adventures, sending a bunch to Venus to extract all the carbon from the carbon dioxide and similar materials from the gases is a possibility for use in making space ships. If Ranma is ever given the information or encounters such exotic substances as naquida, he might be able to manufacture them out of junk as well. On a more practical level would be to convert a portion of salt in ocean water into other materials such as aluminum.
