Wow! So much happened in this chapter! I'm glad everything is well with Jet. I'm sure it is a load off of Trowa and Quatre's minds that he seems to be a happy, well adjusted dog. I'm also really glad that things are going well for Heero and Shini, as well as Treize and Zoe. And the engagement scene was just so cute! And then there was the delightful lemony goodness at the end. Lovely. Still, I can't help but worry that everything is going too well. Heero is due for some good luck, but sometimes... well I'm paranoid. Thank you for writing! Life's been crazy lately and it's lovely to be able to escape into this world you've made. Thanks! --jess

*breathes a sigh of relief* I'm really glad that everything seems to have gone as well as can be expected with Jet. Catherine's idea of helping Heero unpack to kill time was brilliant. Sometimes you just need to keep your hands busy to distract yourself from things you can't change. I'm also glad that Trowa and Quatre got a chance to break down and bleed off some of their guilt and grief. Although, I'm fairly certain that Trowa, at least, will be blaming himself for a long time. I think seeing Jet recover and be a happy dog again will be the only thing that eases that though. I just hope that Catherine gets a chance to cry on a friendly shoulder... maybe Hilde's? Hehee! I'll be looking forward to the next chapter! Thank you for writing! --jess

Oh poor Jet! I'm sure no matter what anyone says, Trowa is going to beat himself up about it. I hope the surgery goes well. I know plenty of perfectly happy three legged dogs, but it is still hard. And now every time Trowa looks at him he'll feel guilty until he comes to the realization that it wasn't his fault. Poor thing. But on a totally different note, am I reading too much in to things or is the relationship between Hilde and Catherine growing just a bit warmer than friendship? *grins* I hope so. I think they'd be good for each other, though it is a pairing I'd not thought of until it was hinted at earlier in this story... or was it one of the prequels... Anyway, best of luck to them too. Wow thank you for the updates!! I really liked the descriptions of Zero's studding career and happy that all is going well in that department for Heero and go Shini!! I can't wait till he wins some really big competition and i also can't wait till Angel foals!! and poor Jet.. hope it doesnt turn out too badly for him!!.. please update soon! i really like all of your fics!

Yay! Oh it's so exciting! And I agree with Zoe, Heero is past due for a bit of good luck for a change. I do hope Shini does well for him and that nothing goes wrong with Angel's pregnancy. I've become quite attached to your fictional horses... For all that I went to a college full of equine studies students, I've had very little to do with the creatures. *chuckles* I loved their little bet there at the end! Hehehe! It was quite sweet of Zechs to wait up and welcome Treize home. Now though, I wonder what will come of Zero's lovely ad... especially since Duo won the bet. You'll turn me into a horse person yet. hehe. I keep thinking about how Shini will go and if everything will go well with him this year. I'm not sure how much more disappointment poor Heero can take! I realize this is fiction but you seriously had me biting my nails throughout this last chapter! Your descriptions of the competition are suspenseful and engrossing, and even though all I know about horses I've pretty much learned from reading this series, you really had me on the edge of my seat. Fantastic writing. And a lovely story to boot! I can't wait to see the reaction of the guys at home!

It has taken the better part of two weeks to get through this series and now that I've caught up I just can't wait for more! I've laughed, cried, and gotten angry at the computer screen and thoroughly enjoyed all of it. I now know more about horses and showjumping than I ever cared to but it has been a painless and enjoyable education.
