'm slowing down to savor now, because I've almost caught up with you. Depressing thought! But I knew it was coming. I hope Gohan and Dende become closer. Good for them both, I think. I hope they don't have to jettison any bad nameks! More Zarbon is just what the doctor ordered. Thank you, and keep up the good work on that front. I'm finding that I'm missing Goku now. Funny how I didn't give him a thought, almost all those chapters before he got rescued, and now he's always on my mind. Please write faster and stay ahead of me!! Yes, Zarbon rescue! Take care of the blue guy! And I have never before felt a single thing for Burter in all my life. It was a void, total indifference. It feels funky now! Still not sure about a hook-up there--they're too reptilian maybe? I could probably be won over, though... I think... I did appreciate the Yamcha closure of the previous chapter as well. But I was sad that he suffered so much for the cause. Wasn't strong enough, had to die. Shame. Is Goku still in the tank? *confused* I probably didn't read carefully because I'm anxious to find out what happens. Thank you again! | Title: After Chapter 36

This was such an wonderful chapter. I especially loved Zarbon and Burter, because it gives me hope of things to come! Z must be rescued. And then hook up, not necessarily with Burter, of course... I loved the direction of the Goku character arc. As much as I adore Vegeta and his flawless character in this fic (not counting mass murder or random acts of violence), I've always identified with him as tormented. He is that here too, yes, but it's not as apparent. And it breaks my heart to see Goku tormented. And weak. Thank you for making that believable, and also for going out on a limb with that one. You really give so much, with your attention to detail and to all of the characters and their drives. You're an ace at dialogue too, and that's just so fantastic. I feel like I have to apologize for only being moved to review after some hot Radditz yaoi. But damn. That was hot. I wasn't sure how I would feel about it, because I just wasn't. But damn. Phew. DAMN. I found this story three days ago, feeling in the mood for some epic A/U. I wasn't expecting the hot Radditz sex. Like Christmas in July. Hot! As I've been reading, though, I kept telling myself, I gotta stop and review. She deserves reviews! So I was intending all along to review--it was just the whole yaoi thing pushed me over the edge. I had to review. I'm finding it hard now to go back and tell you about everything I've enjoyed SO much up to this point. Characterization is a huge success. Thank God the only one I have to complain about is Frieza. He feels a little flat, so I'm kind of lukewarm toward him, when I like to feel passionately hateful toward him. EVERYONE ELSE, even Zarbon, I can't wait to hear what they have to say next. And sometimes they say and do the most outrageous things! I admire your daring in letting them be so essentially themselves, and act and think from those places. It really works for me that you don't seem to pull any punches. I don't feel like you're jerking me around--it feels like I'm just immersed, full on. Very little to take me out of the story. The pacing feels right; the plot, I'm not as enamoured of, simply because I'm scared. I like big ol' happy endings for everyone, and I'm just nervous. Really, though, I'm just a wimp. The plot's great, and I'm on the edge of my seat. Make everything come out all right! This is such a winner, in so many wonderful ways. I hope you're still enjoying as much as I am. I'm so glad you are back! My inbox was getting lonely. haha Another great chapter, well worth the wait. Where do I start? I love the building of 18's character and Krillin's relationship with her. It's so very cute. I look forward to seeing more of that! 17 seems very "metro"? Is that the right word for him? I'm not sure, but it's interesting. I want to know what's up with Dende. Are the other Namekians angry with him for healing Zarbon or not healing Guru? Anyway, looking forward to the next chapter! I really hope that 17 gets a bit more lime-light in the later chapters! I really love his character (which is why I write about him a lot) and I believe he has a bit more to his personality than most people write (dead, boring). Maybe he can find some guy on the ship attractive? It's me again, as always. haha Great chapter... I have a feeling that bit with Orly and the girls is not over. The remaining two are certainly going to be a little pissed off. Nice to see the moment between Radditz and Puar. I love them so much. I know I keep saying that but it's true. Nappa and Mrs. Briefs... so hilarious. They would be awesome together. haha Poor Dr. Briefs. I liked the scene with B&V it was nice very sweet.. for Vegeta anyway. I keep wondering if anything will ever come of that mating thing that was mentioned all those chapters ago but I guess since he is with her right now there is no need to go insane or anything. It'll be interesting to see how the Zarbon situation plays out. I'm looking forward to it. That you for another wonderful chapter! Although I know you weren't completely happy with this chapter, I thought u did a wonderful job conveying what u needed to in this chapter. There was a little of everything, from action to a little glimpse of everyday life on Red. It seems that they have formed a little family on the station ,and like the rest of us, a little dysfunctional to boot. Btw, r u forshadowing that maybe Trunks might be in the picture soon? Just finished a complete re-read of the story, and I must say again: how unique of a concept this is, and how I really like how you're able to wrap humor and drama and violence together in such an entertaining package. Oh! And kodos to the whole Raditz/Puar vibe you've had in this story [as strange as this may be, I'm actually starting to become a fan of this pairing]. After this re-read, I'm wondering if you're "dropping" the other character like Tien, the Nameks, #16, and #17 (heck even Goku and ChiChi somewhat) into a background corner in favor of trying to narrow down the plot to focus mostly on Vegeta, Bulma, Puar, Raditz, Krillin, #18, Gohan, and Nappa. My concern here is feel the story is getting because of it. Don't get me wrong, it's too fantastic for words as it is. But it feels as though there are lots of unanswered questions that have brought up in the plot that have either been glossed over to get to a new point or have maybe been forgotten about. The whole Tienshinhan thing for instance. What happened to him during his time in a slaver camp; how did he adapt coming back to the others; what about exploring those frustrations he expresses to Krillin in one chapter; or what about missions that he went on or could possibly go on? >.< Gosh I must should like a complete Tien fan here (Krillin and Uub fan though to be honest), but those questions could be applied to the other characters that have been "swept" into that corner. Maybe it's a preference thing, but in any case, you're doing a great job as is so, please, by no means change that formula because it does work wonderfully. Guess I'm just rambling on a bit.
