I may be late to the party, but I am really enjoying how you put a
modern twist to this story. I'm glad that you didn't forget about
our second favorite couple. You showed the major flaw in Kikyou and
Inuyasha's relationship. Plus you kept Shippou in character while
giving him his father back. Plus, having more like him definitely
helps. Keeping his mother and her love in his life was a good
thing. Even though Inuyasha was alone and experienced so much
discrimination and racism, I am glad that you had him still end up
with Kagome and a happily ever after.

I know I loved this story the very first time, but reading it again reminded me WHY i loved it so much! The tenderness, care and love that Kagome & Inuyasha show for each other is just beautiful! Congratulations on your first posted au fic. I loved it and the world that you created. It was definitely original, I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before. Usually you will see fics where everyone knows about youkai and or they will be hidden by concealment charms, but in all of those stories the youkai live and work like humans. And I loved what you did with Inuyasha learning that he can conceal himself with an ofuda. And his thoughts about possibly staying human, I can definitely see that. I mean, in canon, at one point he was willing to become human to be with Kikyou so I could see him doing the same in your story. At the same time, you can't help but feel bad for them that he can't be what he really is around others. And the choice about what type of baby to have. They both, at least a little, would want a part youkai child but neither, especially Inuyasha, wants the child to go through what he did. Excellent work as always, though the glimpse you gave us of this world leaves me wanting more. I have to wonder if, given that both Inuyasha and Kagome are so much of planners in this fic, if he would have actually said yes to Kagome wanting to get pregnant. Not that he wouldn't have been swayed by her arguments about him fathering human children, but rather that the timing seems wrong. Knowing the schedule of when their busy season is, why would they want her to give birth during that time? I can see him telling her no, but with the codicil that they should wait a few more months before trying so that most of her last trimester would fall after the guests were gone. That would also lessen the amount of stress on her that might cause a premature birth, as well as let them get past the exhausting first few months when the baby doesn't sleep through the night, before the guest start arriving again. | Title: I feel all squishy XD

I've been reading and re-reading with you for a while. I'm astounded sometimes by how much your style has matured in just a few years. I loved B & B. It was wonderful to see Kagome and Inuyasha come together all peaceful and quite. Without all the canon action getting in the way of sweet sweet romance.
