I went back and re-read the first installment before reading this one. Man...this world really isn't fair to hanyou, is it? It's as if humanity didn't evolve in its stance toward youkai since the feudal era, even as technology and society did evolve. I was glad to see that they came up with a solution, albeit an imperfect one. I'm also glad we didn't get an immediate lemon, as that would have seemed out of place. I assume you're saving that for the Christmas fic, which I'll be looking forward to.
