I came cross this fanfic this afternoon at 3:00pm and it is now well after 12 that i have finaly finished... I could not take my eyes off of this not even for a minite.
I all honesty i am not a big fan of most Sailor-Moon fics and it was by pure chance that i stumbled across this fic... but I must say this is one of the best fics i have ever read... charicters were well developed and their motives realistic to the point where i could literally be smpathetic with even the final of the demons, forgive me for not remebering his name of had... im a bit groggy, though the seductress and her servant were my fave of the baddies. And even Sejuro, who i thought was utterly annoying and was at first hoping would end messily, i ended up unable to not like... Tsubasa as well i liked his chariter alot. Even the smallest stones can cause an Avalanche if they strike the right spot.
It was realeaving to see that you avoided every one of the usual pit falls which Usagi/anyone else falls into usually... I know this because of the substantial number of Ranma1/2 and SailorMoon cross overs with ive seen and a few Sailormoon fic ive bothered to read.

The truth is i have only very reasently become a hard core Sailor moon fan again reasently as i had first watched the ~bad taste in mouth~ dubbed version of the anime from cartoon network and was severly disapointed at the the entire thing as i personally thought it had more potential than what i saw... But then i read the manga version and my eyes were opened!!!
besides... every time i pictured the anime setsuna for your fic i failed miserably... but with Pu-chan from the manga it made the imaging in my head is far better... besides in the manga every ones better, even Chibi-usa
Apart from sailor Saturn manga version Sailor Pluto is my favorite scout.

any way i be rambling now... a sure sign of needing sleep so all i have to say now is... Please if you ever deside to take up writing as a viable Career option please just tell us your fans here on the net... you have a waiting and willing audience... >^_^

I LOVE this fic so much! You hardly EVER find a Usagi/Rei fic and its so sweet. Sad in a lot of ways because I feel sorry for mamoru, but it is so very sweet. Good job! A+ TO you woman!
I absolutly couldn't stop reading it once I started!

This was such a great fanfic, to echo everyone else. My roommate's been watching me cry, laugh, jump around, just about everything. You have such a gift for writing, that I can't wait to read everything else you write! Wow! I'm flummoxed.

I simply loved this story! I can't remember the last time I have read a fanfic that was as well written as this one. The fight scenes were so detailed that I could picture it all in my mind, and the way you portrayed Rei with such struggles and challenges was brilliant. I especially liked the way you let Usagi and Rei find some happiness with each other in the middle of the story, only to have it rip away by Usagi's confusion on whom she is really in love with or Rei's near death at the end. You should consider writing a story and see about getting it published because you have a great talent for writing. Thank you for writing the amazing story, I look forward to seeing more works from you again.

wow, i truly loved your fic. *cheers and gives two thumbs up* thank you for writing it. i've read good fics, but this one definitely takes the cake! i had just started reading it at the end of last week. i saw it on ff.net, but it seemed way too long to read. but now i realize it was definitely worth reading it wouldn't have been as good if it was shorter. i think i'll be more of a critic now as far as rei/usagi fics because this one was so good. but that's okay. don't stop writing. you're very good at it. can't wait to see what you write next. bye for now! :)

Whoa! This fic rules! I will probably be dazed tomorrow at work, due to not getting enough sleep, but this fic deserved it. Keep up with the great works.

A well written and exceptionally gripping tale told by someone who obviosly knows their stuff. A recommended and must read fanfiction. Not for the light of heart however.

Words? I don't think there are any...

That was...just...wow. I really don't think there's anything I can say that can do my emotions justice right now. This is definately going on my list of 'Best Fics Ever Created EVER!'

I wish MY Usagi would realize my feelings for her and return them like the one in this fic did...*sniffle**stops crying so she can go back to giving you her undying praise ^^*

It's so wonderful to find another author who adores angst so much. Torturing the main characters physically, mentally, emotionally...it's so much fun, isn't it? ^^ I'll admit, however, you even had me wanting to cry toward the end there. The death and ressurection of Rei was just an awesome scene in general. I think I shall build it a shrine...^^º (Don't question the Krissy, for she is a very odd child. She broke out of the institution a long, long time ago and has been hunted by the People in White for just as long.)

It'd be so incredibly awesome to see this as a manga, or even as a movie. God knows I'd pay good money to see it. I'm sure the rest of your adoring fans would as well. ^^

While I don't think a sequal to this would ever be as good as the original (but I'm sure you could make it possible), reading one would be a blessing. I highly doubt you'd like to create one, seeing as how insanely (yet wonderfully) long the original was, but nevertheless, maybe you should give it a little thought. Who knows? It may be a point of interest for you.

I believe I've rambled enough. My praise remains eternal, which I'm sure you are aware. I hope to see more from you soon. May the jerks at FF.N know that they've lost one of the best writers to ever grace the internet! Peace out!

~Krissy

Far and away, this was one of the best reads of my life. The only thing I can compare it to is Tim Nolan's works. I couldn't stop reading. Incredible action, touching love story, and that great ending that forces you to break intoa smile you can't even try to wipe off your face. I can't wait for the sequel.

There comes a moment, wading through the trashy fics portraying Rei and Usagi tramping around like sluts with each other, that you come upon a truly wonderful fiction that shows the dedication and love for the story that they possess.

There comes a moment, when you are sitting and waiting for the next installment of that truly wonderful fiction, when you realize that you truly are going crazy inside wondering what will happen next.

When a story touches your life, it leaves you feeling incomplete, waiting almost deliriously to see how it will end. When it ends, a kind of emptiness forms in your heart, now devoid of the anticipation and delight that comes from waiting, desiring the next part of the story.

It is a story like Absence that encompasses all of that which makes me believe I have finished reading the greatest story ever told. I have found myself wishing that my stories could be popular like yours, Kirika, but I have found that, instead, I should aim to pour my heart and soul into mine such as you do in yours.

Fanfiction writers of every genre, every rating, and every series would have good tales with just have of your effort and dedication.

This is truly the greatest, most riveting and well-written story I have ever read.

Ever.

All my admiration and utter respect,
SgAltima

*sigh* i'm having conflicting emotions... i'm extremely happy and relieved to see the ending of this epic... and i'm very thankful that rei and usagi ended up together... but i'm a bit saddened by the fact that the best shoujo-ai fanfic ever has come to an end...

i think that's my way of telling you to continue writing fanfics... i'm especially excited about the noir fanfic... :) i know you'll do a great job with that one, too!

and since you're going to re-write (sorta) some of the chapters... i'll wait before i print this story up! :)

again, congratulations on such a wonderful fanfic! :) hope to read more!!!
