Another great chapter, I just love the dynamic between all the characters. And the last chapter, I thought you portrayed Kaoru's reluctance very well - it wasn't HIM that scared her, but her memories. Great chapters, I didn't even see that it had been updated - it wouldn't show the 6-7th chapters...hmm. Oh well, great story! More updates?? *blinks innocently* Please?

I absolutely adore this story. You have no idea, I've been looking for a great Kenshin (Bat.)/Karou story, and I've finally found it. I really wish an update will be coming soon (hint hint). Not only is it written brilliantly, but the characterization is practically flawless, and I can actually see the scenario happening. This story has been waiting for more, I'm almost impatient! LoL the Battosai (I know I spelled that horribly, but I can't think of it right now), is a great character. Both thoughtful like Kenshin, and of strong discipline as his alter ego. I can't wait for more, please update! Great work.

waow nice story man.. i was studing for my EXAM..took a short break liked ur summary decided to check it out i was planing on just reading first chap to see ur writing style..and here i'm @ 2 @ nite finishing up the story..it's that good..however i assure u i'll blame u for failing my exam eventouhg i should blame it on myself..newho hope u update soon and hope that i pass linguistics...hope to read more from u soon but not befroe my exams are done...keep on writing..:P

You have a wonderful story!!! I don't mind that it has the plot of another book... we never claimed to be doing originals... only fanfics which means free to take whatever, just for fun. Although you really do have a very wicked cliffie... anyway, they won't boot you out here for lemons, that's what the NC 17 and R ratings are for, so i suggest you do one... fast... and change the rating from PG to higher. Good work! ;)

this was really good, ki can see the progressing relationship between the two already and i like that. itz not fun when the author drags it out forever, i like it that you get right down to the meat so to speak instead of wasting time with the fat or watever.....

Fun story! I like the fact that Kaoru was the one who proposed (especially love the fact that Aoshi tricks her into proposing AGAIN!). The plot sets up a good reason for them to be thrown together and married without knowing much about each other; Battousai is indeed being cruel, but hopefully he'll explain the reasons why he wanted to marry Kaoru soon (cue the angst!). It will be interesting to see the relationship between the two of them develop; I hope that Kaoru continues to be spirited and independent; she's much more interesting when she's willing to argue and yell and throw things. A meek Kaoru isn't really being Kaoru. How much does Kenshin remember of Kaoru as a little girl? Does he have anything like fond memories of her that he could think about later, or does he just remember her because his friends teased her? He seems to respect her courage (and of course he clearly wants her); hopefully he will also make an effort to get to know her, or will find himself getting to know her in spite of not really wanting to bother with it. Looking forward to more chapters soon! J.D.

wow, this tory is really good!!!! wen i red the summary i was kinda sad cuz most stories with relly gud summaries or storylines end up relly bad cuz the author writes it rong or haz relly bad grammar, so i was so ahppy wen i found that dis story wash actually as good as it sounded!!!! now you just have to make sure you update often cuz das anudda ting dat ruins a story....
