This is a really good start to your fic, very well written with only a few grammar mistakes, which could probably easily be caught by a beta. One line in particular striked me as exceptionally beautiful: "The waning moon was a closing eye in a jewel-scattered blanket." The imagiry in those few words is flawless. I wanted to let you know how much I really enjoyed this first chapter of your fic, and that you have a new reader if the rest of the story proves to be as good as promised by the first installment. ~futekioosha~

I tried writing a review last week but I think my computer ate it! Anyway, I wanted to write a review to let you know that I am enjoying your story immensely. I really like the characterization of Kagome. I also like the fact that you decided to take away her miko powers. It makes more sense that way. I'm really looking forward to reading more of the story (especially with Kikyo entering the picture)! Thank you!
