Zidane was to be the perfect Angel of Death, until Kuja's jealousy causes him to drop the genome out of the Invincible. Zidane hit is head and suffered amnesia, was named and adpted by Tantalus, and so on with the correct story line with one major difference: The old Zidane began to slowly awaken, being the active mind in their body instead of Zidane more and more often...
That, and remember how genomes are sometimes called 'saiyan clones'...? I might add that part too.
