| Biography: | I'm an experienced writer (fourteen years of fan fiction under my own belt) who enjoys both reading and writing fan fiction. Over the years I've seen the face of fan fiction writers change; I lurk on archives such as this one and see the fics that come and go.
I am willing to beta read fics for others on the condition that they understand that I am known as -The English Teacher From Hell-. I use Microsoft Word to do my beta work in, because I make use of the special color fonts. If you're afraid of your high school English teacher's red pen, then I'm not the beta reader for you - I use red font like it's a red pen.
Also, I've been burned in the past by writers who refuse to learn from and correct very basic mistakes - you need to be able to - at the very minimum - run your fic through a spell checker and make sure that the word -I-; is capitalized before you send it to me.
