Dusk the hedgehog
Age: 15
Parents: Shadow the hedgehog and Sal the cat
Strengths: Super speed, Telekenetic powers, He has infer red vision and can switch it on and off when he pleases, teleportation, and the power to talk to animals (It seemed like a good idea at the time)
Weaknesses: Unknown...
Appearance: Black quills no streaks, Glassy-white eyes, (think Neji) A brown torn and tattered cloak that he always wears, bandages around his arms and hands (think Rock Lee), and he carries a medium sized dagger with the green chaos emerald encrusted on the hilt. Oh, almost forgot, he carries a small white puppy on his shoulder, named Kero 2 (the first one died...)
Love intrest: None
Personality: Dusk is a loner, he's almost never seen by anyone, (except Fabian) also he doesn't attend school, although he's very bright. He's mostly silent and doesn't say much and its almost impossible to sopt him if he doesn't want to be seen. Just think of him of an even more edgier version of Shadow. although he's not as arrogant as Shadow and doesn't go prancing around yelling 'I'm the ultimate lifeform!' But he does consider himself a better fighter than everyone because he trains most of the time.
Friends: Fabian sparrow and Kero 2
Kero 2
Age: 3
Parent: Dusk the hedgehog (he odopted him)
Appearance: He's a small white puppy that always hangs with Dusk and spends most of the time on his head and shoulder.
Friends: Dusk, Fabian.
Fabian Sparrow
Age: 15
Parents: Whirlwind sparrow and Wave the swallow
Strengths: Pretty fast on his feet, an excellent father, experienced on the gear, wind powers (but doesn't know yet) and genius-ness
Weaknesses: He's a genius with an IQ over 200 but doesn't use his brain.
Appearance: White feathers, streaked with some purple, the same babylonian markings his mom has, Aquamarine eyes, and a comunicator watch on his left wrist that Tails made for him.
Friends: Sonic Jr, Miles Jr, Ember the bat, April Prower, Dusk the hedgehog, Midnight the hedgecat, Nicole Rose and Kero 2.
Love intrest: It's unknown though his does show a small intrest in April.
Personality: Fabian is a fighter, adventurere, carefree spirit, and a hothead all rolled into one.
Ember the bat
Age: 16
Parents: Knuckles the echidna and Rouge the bat
Strengths: Super strength, expert jewel theif, experienced on the gear, pretty fast on her feet, she somehow can hypnotize males to do her bidding (Except For Sonic jr.), and she's experienced with men. (i bet you saw that one coming)
Weaknesses: She's gullible...
Appearance: Bloody red fur, Violet eyes, wears a black tank-top, some camos, and black nike boots. And yes she inherited her mom's bust.
Love intrest: Sonic jr.
Friends: Sonic jr., Miles jr., Fabian sparrow, Nicole Rose, Midnight the hedgecat, Berri the swallow, April Prower, and Dust the echidna.
Personality: Knuckles and Rouge are her parents, YOU do the math.
Midnight the hedgecat
Age: 15
Parents: Sal the cat and Shadow the hedgehog.
Strengths: The same powers as her brother, Dusk.
Weaknesses: She's a materialist
Appearance: She has black fur, wears some grey sweatpants and a white T-shirt. A long cat tails, and her quills are in the same style as Shadow's.
Love intrest: Dust the echidna
Personality: she's a tomboy and Shadow's her father, nuff said.

Miles Jr.
Age: 14
parents: Miles Tails prower and Cream the rabbit.
Strengths: Experienced with the gear, can fly by twirling his twin-tails like helicopter blades... and that's it.
Weaknesses: Unfortunately, he didn't inherit Tails' intelligence, so he's pretty much a goofball.
Appearance: He looks exactly like Tails, except his fur color is kinda a yellow-creamy color.
Love intrest: Nicole Rose
Friends: Nicole Rose, Sonic Jr., Fabian Sparrow, April Prower, Dust the echidna, Midnight the hedgeCat, Ember the bat, Berri the swallow, and he considers Dusk a friend.
Personality: He's just a carefree spirit that barely takes anything serioulsy and that's why he's very popular.
Sonic Jr.
Age: 16
Parents: Sonic the hedgehog and Amy Rose
Strengths: inherited all of Sonic's abilities... except he can swim.
Weaknesses: He's afraid of Shadow.
Appearance: Similar looking to Sonic, except he has a lucky pink quill hidden within all the blue ones.
Love intrest: Ember the bat
Friends: Ember the bat, Nicole Rose, Dust the echidna, Miles Jr., April Prower, Fabian Sparrow, Midnight the hedgeCat, Berri the swallow, and he's afraid of Dusk but still considers him a friend.
Personality: Unlike his father, Sj (Sonic jr.) takes thing seriously, BUT knows when to have fun.
Nicole Rose
Age: 14
Parents: Sonic the hedgehog and Amy Rose
Strengths: Very little strengths... Super speed, and the use of Amy's hammer.
Weaknesses: Everything else.
Appearance: Pink fur, Emerald colored eyes, she wears a pink jean skirt, a white t-shirt, and a pink jean jacket over it.
Love intrest: Miles Jr.
Personality: She's more of a dreamer than a do-er
April Prower
Age: 16
Parents: Miles Tails Prower and Cream the rabbit
Strengths: Inherited Tails' genius, Can fly, experienced on the gear, and has a blackbelt in karate.
Weaknesses: Just like her mom... crybaby
Appearance: An orange-colored rabbit. She wears a pair of blue jeans, a faded old navy shirt, and a pair of glasses that are just for show.
Love intrest: Fabian (But he's oblivious to it)
Friends: Fabian sparrow, Berri the swallow, Nicole Rose, Sonic jr., Dust the echidna, Ember the bat, Miles Jr., Midnight the hedgecat, and she considers Dusk and Kero as friends.
Personality: Just like her mom.
Berri the swallow
Age: 16
Parents: Whirlwind Sparrow and Wave the swallow
Strengths: Inherited her mother's brains, her father's ability to manipulate the air, and experienced on her Type W gear.
Weaknesses: She's a materialist
Appearance: She has white and purple- colored feathers. She wears some black capris and a red addidas shirt.
Love intrest: Dusk the hedgehog (He knows, but ignores her)
Friends: Midnight the hedgecat, Nicole Rose, Miles Jr., Ember the bat, Dusk the hedgehog, April Prower, Sonic jr., and she considers Dusk a boyfriend and doesn't like Kero.
Personality: She's pretty much an hothead.
Dusk the echidna
Age: 15
Parents: Knuckles the echidna and Rouge the bat
Strengths: All of his father's powers
Weaknesses: He's extremely gullible.
Appearance: His fur is a combination of red and white. all he wears is a necklace with a piece of the master emerald on it, and a pair of old shoes.
Friends: Everyone except Dusk and Fabian (Who he considers as rivals)
Personality: Rouge and Knuckles are his parents, YOU do the math!

Okay peeps, i've just found out that Sonic the hedgehog (2006) will be released on Nov.14 in North america for the xbox360 and the PS3 (a launch title for the PS3) and there are new characters, but i've only heard about three so far.
Mephiles The hedgehog: Fights Shadow and ends up sending him to the future.
Silver The Hedgehog: A time traveling white hedgehog searching for the Ilbis Trigger, and prevent him from destroying the world. (Age is between 13-15)
Princess Elise: Eggman's kidnapping victim, having stopped the "Flames Of Disaster" ten years prior to the game, is the only one who knows the secret to it, and their relation to the Chaos Emeralds.

Okay, i've just found out the way Silver's personality is set up.
He was supposed to have the "Shadow the Hedgehog" attitude thing, but SEGA changed him to a whiny, arrogant teenager because they didn't want two of their characters to act the same. So, Silver's personality is like a fusion of Sonic and shadow.
Ok, Mephiles.
Mephiles and Ibliss (?) escaped after the failure of the Solaris project. Ibliss was somehow trapped inside of princess Elise, while Mephiles was sent back in the past in Shadow's capsule, which is why the always show contempt for each other.
Princess Elise...
Uh, haven't found out much about her, except she was supposed to have an attraction Sonic, and vice versa. But SEGA never mentioned whether it was a romantic attraction, or the other kind... can't think of the word right now.
