Mmkay, a bit more about me under here. I'm nice to you if you're nice to me. :) If you're rude or mean to me, I can be rude and mean back. =P
I haven't been with Sonic since he came out. I wasn't even born when he first made his debut. But I have been with him since fifth grade, and just because I didn't play the classics doesn't mean I don't love the series as much as anyone that's been around the entire time. I'm actually fiercely protective of the Sonic series, and I believe everyone needs to stop whining about the new characters that are being created. We can't go back to the classics and how it used to be, so just get over it. My theory is if you're a true fan of something, you look for the good in everything, even if it gets bad reviews or doesn't have a good reputation. As such, I LIKE Sonic Heroes, Sonic X, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2006. My favorite Sonic games are Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2006. My favorite Sonic character is Shadow due to his complexity that people mistake for "emo." (And god I hate it when people call him that).
I like critique on my writing, so if you think I need improvement in something, go ahead and tell me! :)
And last but not least, in no matter WHAT fandom, these coupling wars are just plain stupid. You like what you like. Don't shove it in everyone else's faces and tell them their work sucks because they like a pairing you don't. For instance, I like Sonic and Amy together. But I did not throw a hissy fit and strangle Sally or Elise. In fact, both Sally and Elise are cute with Sonic, I just prefer Amy. I like Shadow and Maria. Not Shadow and Rouge, not Shadow an Amy. But I'm not going to bash these people as long as they don't force it at me. If you can make it work, kudos to you, and in some cases I see where it _would_ would and where it _would_ be possible, and I will acknowledge that.
So for the most part, just don't tell me I suck because of my opinions and feelings >.> Again: You're nice to me, I'm nice to you. :) |
